Littlejohn: People 力／強力にする... there should be a 法律 against it!

The public are to be asked which 法律s they would like changed. Suggestions can be made on a new website 始める，決める up by the 法律 （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限.

Sir Terence Etherton, the High 法廷，裁判所 裁判官 who 議長，司会を務めるs the organisation which advises the 政府 on 法律制定, said: "We are trying to 改善する people's lives by making 法律 more up-to-date and fair."

Sounds 広大な／多数の／重要な, doesn't it? Before you all start logging on at once to www.lawcom.gov.uk, the only thing you need to know is that they don't mean it.

There is not the remotest chance that any change in the 法律 put 今後 by the 支払う／賃金ing public will be 器具／実施するd.

This is just another gimmick in the 指名する of '協議'. Sir Terence goes on to 収容する／認める that new 法律制定 will be brought 今後 only if it finds favour with the Lord （ドイツなどの）首相／（大学の）学長 and other 大臣s.

Any idea that the public could have a say in でっちあげる，人を罪に陥れるing 法律s is anathema to those in 力／強力にする.

But, just for fun, let's pretend that this was for real and the 政治家，政治屋s and the 合法的な 設立 really did care what we think.

Left to the popular 投票（する）, the 死刑 would be 再提出するd tomorrow. Foreign 犯罪のs and 違法な 移民，移住（する）s would be 国外追放するd すぐに with no 頼みの綱 to 控訴，上告.

We would be 許すd to use deadly 軍隊 against 侵入者s in our own homes and there would be a 義務的な 最小限 five-year 宣告，判決 for 押し込み強盗.

The motorway 速度(を上げる） 限界 would be raised, most of the yellow lines by the 道端 erased and the M4 bus 小道／航路 閉鎖するd.

We wouldn't have 一連の会議、交渉／完成する-the-clock pub 開始 or supercasinos. The 'human 権利s 行為／法令／行動する' and the 条約 of Rome would be 廃止するd, along with the panoply of ridiculous elf 'n' safety 規則s.

負わせるs and 対策 法律s would be 修正するd so that greengrocers couldn't be 罰金d or sent to 刑務所，拘置所 for selling fruit and veg in 続けざまに猛撃するs and ounces.

Th e 法律 on trespass would be 強化するd to 妨げる 'travellers' setting up 違法な caravan 場所／位置s on 私的な land.

罰金s of £1,000 for putting the wrong 肉親，親類d or rubbish in the wrong 肉親，親類d of 解雇（する） would be scrapped, and it would become a 合法的な 必要物／必要条件 for 地元の 当局 to empty the 貯蔵所s at least once a week.

NHS 行政官／管理者s 責任がある the MRSA 疫病／流行性の would be 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with 過失致死 and 刑務所，拘置所d.

カトリック教徒 採択 機関s would not be 軍隊d by 法律 to を引き渡す children to gay couples.

All 限界s on the 輸入 of 義務-解放する／自由な goods from abroad would be 廃止するd. And so on and so on and scoobydoobydooby.

You can fill in your own wish 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）, 確信して in the knowledge that it ain't gonna happen.

政府 in Britain doesn't work like that. With the exception of 膝-jerk 法律s such as the Dangerous Dogs 行為／法令／行動する, 法律制定 in this country is 生産者-led.

政治家，政治屋s aren't in the slightest bit 利益／興味d in what the people who 支払う／賃金 their 給料 think. Most of the time we are held in contempt.

For instance, around 600,000 people have 調印するd an online 嘆願（書） against 計画（する）s for road pricing. 負かす／撃墜するing Street 現実に 招待するd people to 地位，任命する their 見解（をとる）s.

But にもかかわらず this 存在 the biggest 返答 ever, the roads 大臣 Stephen Ladyman said it was 'nonsense' and he wouldn't be taking it 本気で.

What the 政府 手配中の，お尋ね者, he said, was a '審議'. As I wrote on Friday, that means: Do as you're told, or else.

Here's a couple of small examples of how Britain 作品. Parts of Oxford are 苦しむing an infestation of ネズミs ever since the 会議 削減（する） 辞退する collections to once a fortnight in the teeth of 普及した 対立.

Don't be taken in by talk of '協議'. Red Ken '協議するd' the people of West London over the congestion 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金. They were 圧倒的に against it. He 簡単に ignored them.

Livingstone once wrote a 調書をとる／予約する する権利を与えるd: If 投票（する）ing Changed Anything, They'd 廃止する It. That's about the only thing I've ever agreed with him on.

If the public really did have the 力／強力にする to change 法律制定, the 政府 would pass a 法律 against it.
