WHAT ARE SALIVARY GLAND TUMOURS?

There are several types of salivary （分泌する為の）腺s in and around the human mouth, and all can 落ちる 犠牲者 to benign or cancerous tumours.

The （分泌する為の）腺s are where saliva is produced to lubricate the mouth and throat and to digest food.?

The three types of salivary （分泌する為の）腺 are the parotid （分泌する為の）腺s, the submandibular （分泌する為の）腺s, and the sublingual （分泌する為の）腺s.

Tumours in the parotid （分泌する為の）腺s ? which are just in 前線 of the ears ? are the most ありふれた, making up about 70 per cent of salivary （分泌する為の）腺 tumours.??

Submandibular tumours are the second most ありふれた, accounting for 10 to 20 per cent of tumours ? the （分泌する為の）腺s are just below the jaw.

The sublingual （分泌する為の）腺s are the smallest and are in the 底（に届く） of the mouth under the tongue ? tumours starting in these are rare.
