This 1960 Latin American classic had me laughing, blubbing and eager to discover more of Benedetti’s 調書をとる／予約するs.
ツバメ, 49, long-time widower and father of three moody, almost adult children still living at home, 心配するs his 退職. How will he use all that spare time? Gardening, learning the guitar, eating alone in cafes?
What he hasn’t 取引d for is 落ちるing madly in love with a much younger woman. ‘I’m not 乾燥した，日照りのd up!’ he tells himself in astonishment.
気が進まない and embarrassed to tell his children, he enjoys secret trysts. Is it all too good to be true?
If you imagine that 存在 50 先触れ（する）s a life of daytime TV, cocoa and slippers, then this life-高めるing novel will 粉々にする your dread.
