The developers say the 装置, called Switchmate, means 世帯s can 利益 from smart lighting without the need for expensive rewiring.
Switchmate can be controlled using a 動きやすい phone app over Bluetooth and uses a physical toggle inside the 装置 to move the light switch.

Mr Peng said they are hoping to develop new features in the coming months.
He said: 'We designed Switchmate to make your lights smart in seconds - it snaps の上に your 存在するing light switch with magnets, connects to your phone, and 許すs you to 自動化する your lights just like that.
'Because it just snaps over your light switch anyone can do it, and you can take it with you when you move in the 未来.
