The Princess of むちの跡s dazzled in 深い crimson this evening - as she stepped out と一緒に Prince William for the 明言する／公表する 祝宴 held in honour of French 大統領 Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte at Windsor 城.

Kate, 43, was the picture of 宙に浮く in a 劇の dark red silk creponne gown, designed by Sarah Burton for Givenchy, making a dazzling return to high-profile 王室の 義務s tonight as she …に出席するd her first 明言する／公表する 祝宴 for more than 18 months.

The elegant silhouette featured gathered 詳細（に述べる）ing and a flowing caped 支援する, 追加するing a sense of movement as the 王室の couple made their way into the glittering 歓迎会.

The mother-of-three 完全にするd her look with a nod to tradition and 明言する／公表する symbolism, wearing the Lover's Knot Tiara - a favourite once worn by Princess Diana - along with 減少（する） earrings from Her Majesty The Late Queen, and the 王室の Family Orders of both Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles.

A subtle but striking lily of the valley embroidered clutch 追加するd a delicate, floral touch to the ensemble.

Kate also wore the sash and 星／主役にする of the 王室の Victorian Order and the rosette of the Grand Officier of the L'ordre 国家の du M?儀式, a French honour bestowed on her during the Macrons' 公式訪問.

The Prince and Princess were pictured beaming as they elegantly tread the red carpet at Windsor's grand 入り口, honouring the spirit of 外交 on a 高度に 象徴的な occasion.

She was the belle of the ball at Windsor 城 at a ‘white tie and tiaras’ dinner, after 冒険的な an elegant pale pink outfit by Dior and a hat by English milliner 足緒 Collett during the day. 

In the spirit of the Entente Cordial, the 王室の 世帯 has 共同製作するd with Chef Raymond Blanc OBE, an 外交官／大使 for The King's 創立／基礎, to create a First Course and Dessert for the menu tonight.

Guests will dine on a 選択 of pre-dinner canapes, Assiette de L?gumes d'?t?, Vinaigrette de Tomates Crues, Huile d'Olive Vierge, and a 選択 of tender summer vegetables from the gardens of Le Manoir with 下落する, raw tomato and Extra Virgin Olive Oil dressing.

Also on the menu are Supr?me de Poulet Fermier ? l'Argenteuil, 最高の of Rhug 広い地所 Chicken with Norfolk Asparagus and Tarragon Cream, Le Cassis and to wash it all 負かす／撃墜する: Iced Blackcurrant Parfait on a Blackcurrant-soaked Sponge with Elderflower Jelly and Caf? et Petit Fours.

After dinner, guests will be served Taylor's 1977 Vintage Port and a 1948 Grande シャンペン酒 Cognac by Frapin & Co, selected to 反映する the years of The 大統領's and His Majesty's birth in 1977 and 1948 それぞれ.

A cocktail has also been created for the occasion, called L'entente, 連合させるing British gin with lemon curd and French pastis, garnished with 乾燥した，日照りのd French cornflowers and English roses.

手渡す-選ぶd, seasonal flowers, 含むing roses and herbs from the gardens at Buckingham Palace and Windsor 城, 同様に as flowers and lavender from The Savill Garden in Windsor 広大な／多数の／重要な Park, are arranged in silver-gilt centrepieces taken from the Grand Service.

On the 結論 of the 祝宴, flowers that cannot be 再使用するd are 寄付するd to Floral Angels, a charity based at the New Covent Garden Flower Market in London whose patron is Her Majesty The Queen. These flowers are 配達するd to hospices, 年輩の care homes, 避難所s, and many other deserving 受益者s within the 地元の community.

The 王室の Highland Fusiliers 2nd 大隊, The 王室の 連隊 of ScotlandFollowing the 明言する／公表する 祝宴, Their Majesties, The 大統領 and Mrs. Macron and guests will move to the Music Room for a 業績／成果 by the BBC 国家の Orchestra of むちの跡s. The Orchestra will 成し遂げる three pieces: Fackeltanz No.4, by Meyerbeer; Chanson de Matin, by Elgar; and Scylla et Glaucus, 行為／法令／行動する IV, Scene V: 空気／公表するs de Demons, by Leclair.

The music for this special 業績／成果 was arranged from the 初めの 得点する／非難する／２０s by Welsh musician and 作曲家, John Quirk.

The 業績／成果 will be 行為／行うd by Ryan Bancroft, 主要な／長／主犯 Conductor, BBC 国家の Orchestra of むちの跡s.

It comes as 大統領 Macron earlier today enjoyed a carriage 行列 through Windsor with the 王室の Family.

King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of むちの跡s travelled with him and his wife through the town and along part of the Long Walk which leads to the 城, just as former French 大統領，／社長 Nicolas Sarkozy did on his visit in 2008.

The King and Mr Macron waved from the 1902 明言する／公表する Landau to （人が）群がるs gathered on the streets, followed by Camilla and Mrs Macron in the 半分-明言する／公表する Landau.

The processional 大勝する, lined through the town by the 武装した 軍隊s, took in Datchet Road, Thames Street High Street, Park Street, Cambridge Gate, George IV Gateway to the Quadrangle of Windsor 城.

When the 行列 swept into the 城, an array of 軍の 部隊s were in position waiting to 参加する the 儀式の welcome.

Central was the guard of honour formed by two of the British Army's oldest 連隊s: Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards and F Company Scots Guards with the 明言する／公表する colours of the 連隊s. 

Mr and Mrs Macron were joined by the King and Queen on a 演壇, with William and Kate stood nearby.

As the 大統領 and King stood waiting for their wives to join them, they 株d a few words and Mr Macron 温かく touched the King's 支援する.

The pomp and pageantry featured the 軍の Knights of Windsor by the 城's 君主's 入り口, a detachment of the 世帯 Cavalry nearby and outside the equerries' 入り口 was the King's 団体／死体 Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard.

After the 王室の salute was given by the 兵士s on parade and the French 国家の 国家 was played, Major Jake Sayers, captain of the guard of honour, spoke in French to 大統領 Macron.

He told the visiting 長，率いる of 明言する／公表する: 'Your excellency, the guard of honour of the Grenadier Guards and Scots Guards is 現在の and ready for your 査察.'

The French leader was joined by the King as he walked past the guardsmen formed in two lines on the quadrangle of Windsor 城, as the 集まりd 禁止（する）d of the Grenadier Guards and the Scots Guards played L'Entente Cordiale.

Earlier, William and Kate 迎える／歓迎するd the Macrons at about 11.30am and travelled with them to Windsor to 会合，会う the King and Queen Camilla for a carriage 行列.

The Princess was wearing a Christian Dior jacket, a hat by 足緒 Collett, Princess Diana 's old earrings and a pearl necklace from Queen Elizabeth II 's collection.

 The Christian Dior jacket is the 30 Montaigne Rose Des Vents 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業 Jacket from the 2024 collection. The piece was reimagined by Italian designer Maria Grazia Chiuri who was 奮起させるd by the 初めの, which was first cre ated in 1947 by Dior himself.

The King's Colour 騎兵大隊 formed a carpet welcome party at the 離着陸場 for the Macrons, and they were 最初 welcomed by Helene Duchene, the King's 外交官／大使 to フラン .

After 会合 William and Kate, a 一連の 高官s were 現在のd to the French couple 含むing Sir Kenneth Olisa, the Lord-中尉／大尉／警部補 of Greater London.

After the Macrons travelled to Windsor with Kate and William, Charles and Camilla 正式に 迎える／歓迎するd their guests on a 王室の 演壇 建設するd on Datchet Road in the town - with Windsor 城 in the 背景 as gun salutes sound in nearby Home Park.

The King was seen with a small burst 血 大型船 in his 権利 注目する，もくろむ which made it look red. It is understood this happened by 事故 夜通し, and is not 関係のある to his 癌 治療.

The King and Queen had arrived by car at Dachet Road in Windsor after travelling from the 城 ready to 会合，会う the Macrons.

At one point Camilla appeared to imitate riding a horse, which made Mrs Macron laugh.

The Princess of むちの跡s gave a 深い curtsy to both the King and Queen and Camilla 迎える／歓迎するd the Prince and Princess of むちの跡s with a kiss on the cheeck.

William, talking to Mr Macron, appeared to point に向かって the turret of Windsor 城 in the distance, where they will join their guests for lunch and tonight's 明言する／公表する 祝宴 later on.

Finally, as the フランス系カナダ人-British introductions wrapped up, William kissed his stepmother Camilla on the cheek, leaning over to 避ける knocking her hat.
