If you have fond memories of the Noughties' ITV series starring John Hannah who was then 取って代わるd by Ken Stott, here's a 警告: the BBC's Rebus reboot is so violent and uncompromisingly 荒涼とした that I had to 軍隊 myself to keep watching past the first five minutes.

Even as テレビ視聴者s despair at his obvious frailties and fallibilities, we care ? while Freeman wears Carson like a second 肌.

The BBC's Rebus reboot is so violent and uncompromisingly 荒涼とした that I had to 軍隊 myself to keep watching past the first five minutes

説得するing audiences to 投資する in difficult ? 潜在的に unlikeable ? characters 十分に to want to …を伴って them through an entire series is tricky but doable.?

What's not doable is 令状ing characters so determinedly 冷笑的な and morally 流浪して that even 罰金 actors can't 配達する someone we believe in, much いっそう少なく root for.?

Richard Rankin (no relation) as Rebus does what he can with what he's given, however I 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑う discerning テレビ視聴者s won't care, they'll recoil. And switch off.

I didn't want to spend time with Gregory Burke's 見解／翻訳／版 of Rebus because he is patently a violently unhinged 凶漢 and life is far too short to be 撃退するd in the 指名する of entertainment.?

And even if the character Rebus nearly kills in the 開始 scene is 反乱ing, his police badge doesn't give Rebus a pass.?

At the end of the day, any 競争相手s fighting for the low moral ground are not ones I'm going to care about.

一方／合間, the show's 女性（の） characters ? Rebus's new professional partner Siobhan Clarke (Lucie Shorthouse), his lover (also his best mate's wife), his ex and his young daughter ? are two-dimensional ciphers; women's lives as they are lived are 明確に not in either Burke's or Rebus's 慰安 zones.

However, anybody 推定する／予想するing their pyramids with a big 味方する-order of mystery will find that Dara's 最新の is いっそう少なく Mysteries Of The Pyramids than 受託するd Academic Theories Of The Pyramids.?
