More US tourists are coming to Australia

A Deloitte 接近 経済的なs 報告(する)/憶測 says international 訪問者s rose by 8.2 per cent in the 12 months to May, the fastest 率 of growth in nearly a 10年間.
Tourists from Asia continue to be the biggest driver but, 反抗するing previous 傾向s, a 重要な 増加する in tourists from the UK and the US had 与える/捧げるd to the strong growth in international arrivals, Deloitte 広報担当者 Lachlan Smirl says.
"現れるing Asian markets continue to 運動 growth in 訪問者 numbers and spending in Australia. This has been the 事例/患者 for some time," he said.
"But what has changed is two of Australia's oldest 観光旅行,事業 markets, the US and the UK, which have been subdued for some time since the 財政上の 危機, have seen strong growth in the past 12 months.
"There's been almost 二塁打 digit growth for both of them which is a very 肯定的な turnaround and is one factor that has 与える/捧げるd to an 全体にわたる 昇格 in international arrivals."
Arrivals from the UK grew 12 per cent for the year after 落ちるing 20 per cent over the past six years. US arrivals grew 9.1 per cent, the fastest pace since 2010.
Chinese arrivals grew 11.9 per cent while 増加するd flights from low-cost 運送/保菌者s such as 空気/公表する Asia X and Jetstar, 増加するd holidaymakers from Malaysia (20.4 per cent) and Singapore (16 per cent).
Asia's 速く 拡大するing middle class is the biggest driver and will account for 63 per cent of the total growth in internation al 訪問者s over the next three years, Mr Smirl 追加するd.
He said the growth in Chinese travellers to Australia may より勝る Japan's 1997 高さs by this time in 2015.
