NZ dollar slides to six-week low
The New Zealand dollar dropped to a six-week low after Reserve Bank 知事 Graeme Wheeler invoked one of the 基準 to 介入する in 通貨 markets in calling the kiwi's strength "unjustified".
The kiwi sank to 85.83 US cents at 5pm in Wellington from 87.02 cents すぐに before the RBNZ 解放(する), and 86.81 cents on Wednesday.

The Reserve Bank's 介入 政策 含むs a 必要物/必要条件 that the 通貨 must be "unjustified" based on a 範囲 of 経済的な 根底となるs, and must be at an exceptionally high or exceptionally low point in the cycle.
"The use of the exact word in the RBNZ's 介入 bible - that's why the market 反応するd," said Tim Kelleher, 長,率いる of institutional FX sales NZ at ASB Institutional in Auckland.
The kiwi dropped to 87.07 yen at 5pm in Wellington from 88.03 yen on Wednesday, to 90.84 Australian cents from 92 cents and to 63.77 euro cents from 64.47 cents.
