British architects to design Qatar World Cup final stadium
Renowned British architects Foster and Partners was 指名するd on Monday as the designer of the stadium that will host the final of the 議論の的になる Qatar football World Cup in 2022.
The 80,000 seater stadium will be built in the 目的-built city of Lusail, some 15 kilometres (10 miles) north of the 資本／首都 Doha.
The stadium will be the centrepiece of a 抱擁する $45 billion (38 billion euro) construction 事業／計画（する） which will see an entire new city rise from the 砂漠 in time for football's biggest tournament in seven years' time.

Hassan Al Thawadi, the 委員会's 長官-general, said: "We look 今後 to working with them (Foster and Partners) in creating an iconic, 同時代の stadium 奮起させるd by Qatari culture.
"Lusail Stadium will be the centrepiece of the tournament, an architecturally innovative stadium which 持続するs 冒険的な functionality and 配達するs on our sustainability かかわり合いs."
The stadium at Lusail is also 推定する／予想するd to host the first game of the tournament 同様に as the 開会式.
Lord Foster, the chairman of Foster and Partners, said it was an "honour to design this centrepiece stadium".
"We are delighted to have won the international 競争," he 追加するd.
The architects are an 国祭的な acclaimed 会社／堅い 責任がある such 事業／計画（する）s as the redevelopment of the Reichstag Building in Berlin, the Hearst Tower in New York and, perhaps most pertinently, the 改造する of Wembley Stadium in London.
