Niger: 10 重要な dates since independence
Ahead of Sunday's 大統領の 選挙 in Niger, here are 10 重要な dates in the West African nation since its independence from フラン on August 3, 1960:
- クーデターs -
- April 15, 1974: a クーデター led by army 長，指導者 Seyni Kountche 倒すs 地位，任命する-independence 大統領，／社長 Diori Hamani. Kountche runs the country with an アイロンをかける 握りこぶし until his death in 1987.

- January 27, 1996: Mahamane Ousmane, who three years earlier had become the country's first 民主的に-elected leader, is overthrown in a クーデター led by Ibrahim 明らかにする Mainassara.
- April 9, 1999: Mainassara is killed during a クーデター engineered by the 大統領の guard. A 革命評議会 comes to 力／強力にする which is 取って代わるd eight months later by a 非軍事の 政府 長，率いるd by Mamadou Tandja.
- February 18, 2010: Tandja is 倒れるd by a 軍事政権 after fighting around the 大統領の palace. He had stoked a 危機 in 2009 by changing the 憲法 ーするために stay in 力／強力にする.
- March 12, 2011: 対立 figu re Mahamadou Issoufou 勝利，勝つs the second 一連の会議、交渉／完成する of the 大統領の 選挙. His investiture in April ends the 軍の 移行 which started after the 2010 クーデター.
- Islamist attacks -
- September 16, 2010: 交戦的なs from Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb 掴む seven people, five of whom are French, from a 抱擁する ウラン 地雷 run by French company Areva at Arlit in northern Niger. The last of the French 人質s are 解放する／自由なd in 2013.
- May 23, 2013: Niger is 攻撃する，衝突する by two 自殺 attacks （人命などを）奪う，主張するd by two jihadist groups 的ing a 軍の （軍の）野営地，陣営 at Agadez and an Areva ウラン 場所／位置 in the north. Around 20 people, おもに 兵士s, are killed.
- April 25, 2015: At least 74 兵士s and 非軍事のs are killed in an attack by Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram on a 軍の position in the south east. 32 people are also 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d as 行方不明の.

- November 14, 2015: Issoufou 対抗者 Hama Amadou is 逮捕（する）d and 刑務所，拘置所d on his return to Niamey from 追放する in フラン, where he fled in 2014 after 存在 （刑事）被告 of taking part in a baby trafficking スキャンダル.
