Class 危機: Why does caste still 存在する in modern India?
Members of the Jat caste in a northern Indian 明言する／公表する have 行う／開催する／段階d 暴動s and 放火（罪） attacks to 需要・要求する preferential 接近 to 職業s and education, and at least 19 people have been killed.

India's centuries-old caste system divides people into four main classes starting with the priestly Brahmins and ending with the Dalits, 以前は known as "untouchables".
Although the system has been 公式に 廃止するd, it still 勝つ／広く一帯に広がるs in 田舎の areas and 決定するs where people live, who they marry and what type of work they do.

The Jat caste is the 選び出す／独身 biggest community in Haryana 明言する／公表する 国境ing New Delhi, with nearly eight million members.

Jats want the Haryana 政府 to 含む them in the 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） of "other backward classes" so that they can qualify for reserved 政府 職業s and college places.

After 会合 Jat leaders on Sunday night, the Haryana 政府 agreed to the Jats' 傾向 in the 割当 system.
軍隊／機動隊s are now unblocking 主要道路s and other major roads and have 回復するd 支配（する）／統制する of a canal that 供給（する）s most of 隣人ing Delhi's water after 抗議する人s 掴むd 支配（する）／統制する and コースを変えるd the 供給（する）.

Jat leaders have agreed to call off 抗議するs 完全に, and Haryana's 政府 will 準備する a 法案 for Jats' 傾向 in the 割当 system.
However the 法案 still 直面するs 障害物s since India's 最高の，を越す 法廷，裁判所 委任統治（領）s a 50 パーセント cap on 割当s for places -- which Haryana has already reached.
