Naples to host next America's Cup in 2027 when New Zealand will 捜し出す fourth straight 肩書を与える
The next America´s Cup will be held off Naples, Italy, in 2027, 支えるもの／所有者 Team New Zealand 発表するd on Thursday.
It will be the 38th 版 of the world´s most famous regatta and the first time it has been held in the Mediterranean country.
New Zealand had the 権利 to 選ぶ the 発生地 after winning its third straight cup in Barcelona last year.
The cup 支えるもの／所有者 said the races will be 行う／開催する／段階d in the spring and summer of 2027. Naples 以前 hosted 予選 regattas before the 34th America's Cup in 2012. New Zealand team boss 認める Dalton said that while the event would surely 利益 from the Italian sailing fans, his team would have to play the spoiler.
"Italians are the most 熱烈な and engaged America´s Cup audience and ... Luna Rossa are such an amazing team and strong competitor," he said. "So, from the defender´s position it certainly feels like we are entering the lion´s den competitively, but from an event 視野 it feels like the perfect 発生地."
