Beijing 禁止（する）s smoking in public spaces
BEIJING (AP) ― Beijing has 可決する・採択するd a smoking 禁止（する） in all indoor public spaces 含むing workplaces and public 輸送（する）.
The 公式の／役人 Xinhua News 機関 報告（する）／憶測d that the 禁止（する） will go into 影響 in the 資本／首都 city of 21 million people on June 1 and carry a 罰金 of up to 200 yuan ($32.50). The Standing 委員会 of Beijing 地方自治体の People's 議会 passed the 草案 規則 Friday.
中国 is home to the most smokers of any country, with 300 million smoking and 740 million exposed to secondhand smoke every year. Xinhua 報告（する）／憶測d the number of smokers in Beijing alone 越えるs 400,000 people.
The new 規則s also 禁止（する） outdoor タバコ 宣伝s and 同様に on TV and in films and newspapers.
