Obama 延長するs US 軍の 使節団 in Afghanistan into 2017
WASHINGTON (AP) ― When 大統領 Barack Obama leaves office in 15 months, he'll 手渡す his 後継者 軍の 衝突s in the two countries where he 約束d to end 長引かせるd war: Afghanistan and Iraq.
There will be far より小数の 軍隊／機動隊s in each, and the American 軍隊s won't have a direct 戦闘 役割. But for Obama, it's にもかかわらず a 失望させるing end to a 追求（する），探索（する） that was central to his political rise.

As a result, the 勝利者 of the 2016 大統領の 選挙 will become the third American c ommander in 長，指導者 to 監督する the Afghan war.
The 大統領，／社長's goal of ending the wars he 相続するd had already been （名声などを）汚すd by the return of U.S. 軍隊s to Iraq last year, 2? years after they left. The 軍隊／機動隊s are there to help Iraq fight the Islamic 明言する／公表する, a 使節団 Obama has said will likely outlast his 大統領／総裁などの地位.
Obama never について言及するd Iraq Thursday, but the tenuous 状況／情勢 there has no 疑問 hung over his 決定／判定勝ち（する）-making on Afghanistan. Obama's critics 競う the 決定／判定勝ち（する） to 身を引く from Iraq created the vacuum that 許すd the Islamic 明言する／公表する to 栄える and 警告するd leaving Afghanistan next year could have the same consequences.

"If he is truly committed to fighting テロ行為 and 安全な・保証するing a stable Afghanistan, he shouldn't shortchange what our 軍の 指揮官s have said they need to 完全にする the 使節団," said Jeb Bush. The former Florida 知事 did not say how many 軍隊／機動隊s he thought would be 十分な.

U.S. 公式の／役人s say Afghan 大統領 Ashraf Ghani asked Obama to keep the 軍隊／機動隊s in his country when they met in Washington earlier this year. Obama sees Ghani as a more reliable partner than former 大統領 Hamid Karzai, a 水銀の leader who 深く，強烈に 失望させるd the White House.

"Americans have learned that it's harder to end wars than it is to begin them," he said at the time.
