GOP 委任する／代表s love Pence _ even those who don't like Trump
CLEVELAND (AP) ― 委任する／代表s to the 共和国の／共和党の 国家の 条約 embraced Donald Trump's choice for 副／悪徳行為 大統領，／社長 Friday ― even those who have yet to warm up to Trump.
Some 委任する／代表s hope the choice of Indiana Gov. マイク Pence will help 部隊 共和国の／共和党のs and 解雇する／砲火／射撃 up the party base to support Trump.
Not everyone is on board. But at the very least, Trump has all but 保証するd that next week's 条約 投票（する） for 副／悪徳行為 大統領，／社長 will go 滑らかに.

"It's surprisingly ― and you can print this ― a pretty smart choice," said 明言する／公表する Rep. Justin Everett, a Colorado 委任する／代表. "It's a 戦略の 選ぶ and I 高く評価する／（相場などが）上がる it but I didn't just 落ちる off the turnip トラックで運ぶ. ... It's window-dressing."
Tom Rath, a New Hampshire dele gate and longtime 助言者 to GOP （選挙などの）運動をするs, called Pence a "solid 選ぶ" who "should be 安心させるing to a lot of people in the party."
"Pence is a 安定させるing factor," Rath said.
Still, when Rath was asked if he's now supporting Trump, he said 簡単に, "I'm a John Kasich 委任する／代表."
Wisconsin 委任する／代表 Roger Stauter was succinct: "マイク Pence is a good choice. Donald Trump is not."
Trump has been unable to 決起大会／結集させる some 共和国の／共和党のs who question his temperament 同様に as his 保守的な bona fides. Late Thursday, Trump 連合した with party leaders to を回避する an 試みる／企てる to let 委任する／代表s 投票（する） for the 候補者 of their choice, rather than the 候補者 who won them.
The 共和国の／共和党の 国家の 条約 kicks off Monday. Several 重要な 委員会s have been 会合 this week.
Kendal Unruh, a Colorado 委任する／代表 who is 主要な the never Trump movement, called Pence "a 広大な／多数の／重要な 選ぶ."
Still, she's not sold on Trump.
"投票者s don't 投票（する） for 副／悪徳行為 大統領，／社長s," Unruh said.
Pence has a strong 評判 の中で fellow 共和国の／共和党のs as a social 保守的な. The former 下院議員 has plenty of Washington experience and a 静める, thoughtful demeanor that stands in stark contrast to the bombastic Trump.
"He 燃やすs 冷静な／正味の and Trump 燃やすs hot," said California 委任する／代表 Shawn Steel, who is serving as sergeant-of-武器 at the 条約. "It's the perfect contrast."
Steel called the Pence 選ぶ "the smartest 決定／判定勝ち（する） Trump made since he decided to run for 大統領，／社長."
Florida 委任する／代表 Brian Ballard said the 選ぶ would 緩和する 恐れるs some conservati ves have about Trump.
"It helps put an end to these never-Trump guys. It puts a knife in that," Ballard said. "It gives a lot of folks a real 推論する／理由 to say Trump is not going to surround himself with a bunch of whack 職業s in the 閣僚 and his 行政."
