With Henry, 巨人s ready to mash through プレーオフs
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee 巨人s have made it （疑いを）晴らす they are very willing to mash their way through the postseason with the NFL's 最高の，を越す rusher 主要な the way.
Derrick Henry followed up his career-best 1,540 yards in 15 games in the 正規の／正選手 season with the best postseason running 業績／成果 in franchise history with 182 yards. The 巨人s (10-7) are more than happy going a bit old school with Henry, a stingy 弁護 and an All プロの／賛成の punter in 素晴らしい the New England 愛国者s 20-13 on Saturday night.
Coach マイク Vrabel, fresh off winning his postseason coaching debut, said Sunday the 巨人s understand how important running is 特に in the プレーオフs with Henry and this 罪／違反.
"Derrick trains and 準備するs to be able to 扱う that 負担, to carry that 負担," Vrabel said. "He's got a 確かな 技術-始める，決める. That's size and strength and 速度(を上げる）, durability. Those are all 広大な／多数の／重要な 質s for a running 支援する in January. So he'll do everything that he has to to get ready and to do whatever it is that we ask him to do in the game 計画（する）."

WHAT´S WORKING
The run game. The 不快な／攻撃 line 押し進めるd the 愛国者s off the line of scrimmage, and Henry had room to run. Tennessee finished with 201 yards 急ぐing, second-best in franchise history. Henry was part of the previous postseason best two years ago when the 巨人s piled up 202 yards 急ぐing in a wild-card 勝利，勝つ at Kansas City. Only the Ravens ran for more yards (210) against New England this season, which had been sixth against the run.
WHAT NEEDS HELP
Kicking field goals. Still. The 巨人s were the NFL's worst in the 正規の／正選手 season making only 44.4 パーセント of their field goals, and their fourth and 現在の kicker Greg Joseph has yet to even 試みる／企てる a field goal in his three games.
Vrabel passed up trying a long field goal in the fourth ４半期/4分の1, choosing instead to chew time off the clock with a couple of 刑罰，罰則s before a 中立の zone infraction by the 愛国者s. Vrabel then let All-プロの／賛成の Brett Kern punt and 信用d his 弁護.

Henry not only 始める，決める postseason franchise 記録，記録的な／記録するs with 34 carries for 182 yards 急ぐing, he 伸び（る）d 204 of Tennessee's 272 yards of total 罪／違反. In the 最高の Bowl 時代, only two other players had a bigger 株 of a team's total yards in a プレーオフ game: Eric Dickerson with 77.2% for the 押し通すs against Dallas on Jan. 4, 1986, and Larry Brown with 76% for Washington against San Francisco on Dec. 26, 1971.
He also had the second-most yards on the road in the プレーオフs since 1950. Only Freeman McNeil ran for more with 202 yards for the Jets at Cincinnati on Jan. 9, 1983. Henry also topped his own postseason franchise 示す of 191 yards from scrimmage 始める，決める in 2018 at Kansas City.
"He´ s so hard to 取り組む - the 不快な／攻撃 line did a good 職業 of creating some creases for him," 巨人s quarterback Ryan Tannehill said. "There at the end, they were 負担ing up the box and he´s still able to get 肯定的な yards."
STOCK DOWN
Tannehill after his worst 業績／成果 yet for Tennessee in his プレーオフ debut. He's now 8-3 as a starter but 完全にするd only 8 of 15 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown. He also was 迎撃するd and fumbled twice - 回復するing one himself with Henry 落ちるing on the other.
INJURED
