"Britain has one of the world's best road safety 記録,記録的な/記録するs and yet 速度(を上げる) 限界s for lorries have been stuck in the 1960s.

"This change will 除去する a 20mph difference between lorry and car 速度(を上げる) 限界s, cutting dangerous 追いつくing and bringing permitted lorry 速度(を上げる)s into line with other large 乗り物s like coaches and caravans.

He went on: "This 20mph 速度(を上げる) differential can lead to bunching and dangerous 追いつくing manoeuvres. So we welcome the 計画(する)s to 許す トラックで運ぶs to 合法的に travel at 50mph on these roads to end this 失望させるing, dangerous, historic anomaly."

RAC 創立/基礎 director Professor Stephen Glaister said: "For drivers there is nothing more dangerous than 選び出す/独身 carriageway 田舎の roads, with two-thirds of car occupants dying on these types of 大勝する.

"The hope is that the raising of the 限界 will bring 乗り物 速度(を上げる)s closer together and 減ずる the 誘惑 for people to 追いつく where they should not.
