合法的な 承認 of gender change could be made easier
Changes could be introduced to make it easier and cheaper, and いっそう少なく intrusive, for trans people to get 合法的な 承認 of their changed gender.

Mrs May said: “Last year, I committed to carrying out a 協議 on the Gender 承認 行為／法令／行動する and I’m pleased to be able to 開始する，打ち上げる that today.
“What was very （疑いを）晴らす from our 調査する is that transgender people across the UK find the 過程 of 合法的に changing their gender 極端に bureaucratic and invasive.
“I want to see a 過程 that is more 簡素化するd and de-medicalised ? because 存在 trans should never be 扱う／治療するd as an illness.”
Asked if she was worried that trans 権利s could （規則などを）破る／侵害する on women’s 権利s in 状況／情勢s like changing rooms, Mrs May told ITV News:?“No, but I recognise that there are those who are.
“I think this is the important thing, for those who are worried about it, it’s 権利 that we listen to them as we take this 今後.”
The PM said she 手配中の，お尋ね者 to 禁止（する） 転換 therapies because they were “abhorrent”.
Mrs May said: “I was shocked that 転換 therapy was still going on. I think it’s abhorrent and I think it has no place in modern Britain.”
Equalities 大臣 Penny Mordaunt 追加するd:?“The 差別 and bigotry that the trans community 現在／一般に 直面するs is 容認できない in today’s society ? we need a culture change.
“We want to help people to 栄える and to go about their daily life, living in the gender they choose without 侵入占拠 or 恐れる of humiliation.

大臣s are not setting out any 会社／堅い 提案s for change at th is 行う／開催する／段階, and will consider 返答s to the 協議 before deciding on the way ahead.
Trans charity Gendered 知能 welcomed the 協議.
The charity’s 政策 約束／交戦 officer Cara English said: “Meaningful 改革（する）s to the Gender 承認 行為／法令／行動する are 猛烈に needed if we’re going to make the 過程 easier, いっそう少なく bureaucratic and 排除 for trans and 非，不，無-binary people.
“It’s encouraging to see the 政府 take the needs of LGBTQI people 本気で, recognising that the GRA needs to be 改革（する）d to make it more transparent for those who need to 接近 it.
“This 協議 is all about 最高潮の場面ing the lived experiences and needs of people disenfranchised from the 現在の GRA and giving value to their 発言する／表明するs.”
労働 equalities spokeswoman 夜明け Butler said Mrs May had waited more than a year to fulfil her 約束 of a 協議 on 改革（する） of the GRA.
Ms Butler said:?“What the Tories have finally 発表するd is not good enough. Starting from the basis that they won’t make any changes to the Equality 行為／法令／行動する 2010 seems to prejudge the 協議.
