US moves to 保護する Syrian oilfields from IS
The 部隊d 明言する／公表するs will send armoured 乗り物s and 戦闘 軍隊／機動隊s into eastern Syria to keep oil fields from 潜在的に 落ちるing into the 手渡すs of Islamic 明言する／公表する 交戦的なs, US Defence 長官 示す Esper said on Friday.
It was the 最新の 調印する that 抽出するing the 軍の from Syria is more uncertain and 複雑にするd than 大統領 Donald Trump is making it out to be. Though Mr Trump 繰り返して says he is pulling out of Syria, the reality on the ground is different.
追加するing armoured 増強s in the oil-producing area of Syria could mean sending several hundred US 軍隊／機動隊s ? even as a 類似の number are 存在 孤立した from a separate 使節団 closer to the 国境 with Turkey where ロシアの 軍隊s have been filling the vacuum.

This 増強 would introduce a new dimension to the US 軍の presence, which 大部分は has been 構成するd of special 操作／手術s 軍隊s not equipped with 戦車／タンクs or other armoured 乗り物s.
Mr Esper spoke at a news 会議／協議会 at 北大西洋条約機構 （警察，軍隊などの）本部 in Brussels, where he 協議するd with American 同盟（する）s.
Sending an armoured 軍隊 to eastern Syria would 部分的に／不公平に 逆転する the 現在進行中の shrinkage of the US 軍隊／機動隊 presence in Syria.
Mr Trump has ordered the 撤退 of 近づく ly all 1,000 US 軍隊／機動隊s who had been partnering with a Syrian Kurdish-led 民兵 against the Islamic 明言する／公表する group. That 撤退 is 訴訟／進行 even as Mr Esper 発表するd the 計画（する） to put 増強s in the oil-producing area.
Speaking to reporters on Friday at the White House, Mr Trump said the US-仲買人d 協定 with Turkey to 停止（させる） its 不快な／攻撃 against US-supporting Syrian Kurdish 闘士，戦闘機s was a 勝利，勝つ for his 行政.

White House 公式の／役人s would not 明らかにする whom he was referring to as “knocking.”

“Oil is 安全な・保証するd,” Trump tweeted Friday. “Our 兵士s have left and are leaving Syria for other places, then…. COMING HOME! … When these pundit fools who have called the Middle East wrong for 20 years ask what we are getting out of the 取引，協定, I 簡単に say, THE OIL, AND WE ARE BRINGING OUR SOLDIERS BACK HOME, ISIS SECURED!”
Asked about America’s 転換ing Syria 戦略, Mr Esper said the US 使節団 had always been to 妨げる the resurgence of IS. “That 使節団 remains 不変の,” he said.
But Esper said at 北大西洋条約機構 the US was “considering how we might reposition 軍隊s in the area ーするために 確実にする we 安全な・保証する the oil field.” He 追加するd: “We are 増強するing that position. It will 含む some mechanised 軍隊s.”
He made （疑いを）晴らす the main 目的 was to 妨げる IS from 回復するing 接近 to Syrian oil, which 事前の to 2017 was a major source of its 歳入.
