What can I do for Christmas across the four nations?

Coronavirus 支配するs are changing over the Christmas period to 許す a 限られた/立憲的な 量 of 増加するd mixing.

Boris Johnson had 約束d “全員一致の 協定” on the 制限s across the four nations, but the 指導/手引 is now different across England, むちの跡s, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

What does the 法律 say, and what can people do in different areas of the UK?

? What is the 法律?

規則s 現在/一般に 許す for three 世帯s to form an 排除的 “Christmas 泡” for the five days between December 23 and 27 across the UK.

However, on Wednesday the Welsh 政府 said it will do things 異なって and 立法者 to cap 泡s at two 世帯s.

政治家,政治屋s in England and Scotland have said while the 支配するs will remain the same, they have changed their advice to recommend 限界ing social 接触するs as much as possible.

? What can I do in England?

The 総理大臣 has told people to “have a merry little Christmas ? and I’m afraid this year I really do mean little”.

While Mr Johnson said “we don’t want to criminalise people’s long-made 計画(する)s”, he 警告するd people should be “極端に 用心深い” when mixing next week and should minimise 接触するs in the days 主要な up to Christmas.

Updated 指導/手引 問題/発行するd on Wednesday asks people to think carefully about whether they need to see 年輩の friends or family, or people who are “clinically 極端に 攻撃を受けやすい”.

First 大臣 Nicola Sturgeon said this week that her “strong 推薦” is for people not to mix 世帯s over the festive period to 確実にする what is “unequivocally the safest way to spend Christmas”.

Ms Sturgeon 勧めるd people to consider 延期するing their 祝賀s, or to 会合,会う with others only outdoors. She said if it is “必須の” that 集会s take place inside, they should be for one day only with no 夜通し stays.

“The reality is that this Christmas 簡単に can’t be normal. But we have every 推論する/理由 to hope that next year’s will be much more normal,” she said.

? What can people do in むちの跡s?

First 大臣 示す Drakeford first changed his advice for the Welsh public so “only two 世帯s should come together to form an 排除的 Christmas 泡” over the five-day period.

A Welsh 政府 広報担当者 later said this change would be put into 法律.

The 広報担当者 said: “It makes it easier, so we don’t have the position where the 法律 says one thing and the 指導/手引 says something else.”

Mr Drakeford said: “The より小数の people we mix with in our homes, the いっそう少なく chance we have of catching or spreading the ウイルス.

“非,不,無 of us wants to be ill this Christmas. And we don’t want to give coronavirus to our の近くに family or friends.”

? What are the 支配するs in Northern Ireland?

対策 will 含む の近くにing all 非,不,無-必須の shops and 限定するing the 歓待 部門 to takeaway services only. The lockdown will be reviewed after four weeks.

However there will be no changes to Christmas 泡ing 手はず/準備 in Northern Ireland, meaning a total of up to three 世帯s may still mix.

Christmas 規則s in Northern Ireland are the same as in England, other than anyone travelling to or from Northern Ireland has been given extra time to do so on December 22 and 28, but should only 会合,会う with their Christmas 泡 between December 23 and 27.

? Will the Tier 支配するs in England be 解除するd for the five days?

No, the 制限s will still 適用する over the Christmas period.

Pubs, 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業s and restaurants will still have to be の近くにd in Tier 3 areas .

? Do the scientists think this is a good idea?
