Biden 会合，会うs Jordan's King Abdullah to discuss Middle East 問題／発行するs

WASHINGTON, July 19 (Reuters) - 大統領 Joe Biden held Oval Office 会談 on Monday with Jordan's King Abdullah, a 重要な U.S. 同盟（する） in a volatile 地域, in the first of three 直面する-to-直面する 会合s 推定する／予想するd soon with Middle East leaders.
Abdullah, who 直面するd 負かす／撃墜する a challenge to his 当局 in April from his half-brother, Prince Hamza, met Biden for the first time since the U.S. 大統領，／社長 took office in January. Biden called the king a "good, loyal, decent friend."
"You've always been there, and we will always be there for Jordan," Biden told reporters during a picture-taking 開会／開廷／会期. He said he 手配中の，お尋ね者 to hear about 開発s in the Middle East from the king.

Abdullah said his 地域 has many challenges. "You can always count on me, my country and many of our 同僚s in the 地域," he told Biden.

He is the first Middle East leader to visit the Biden White House, to be followed on July 26 by Iraqi 総理大臣 Mustafa al-Kadhimi. U.S. and Israeli 公式の／役人s are working on scheduling a 会合 soon between Biden and new Israeli 総理大臣 Naft ali Bennett, who recently 取って代わるd Benjamin Netanyahu.
Jordan's image as an island of 安定 in the 騒然とした Middle East was called into question after Prince Hamza was （刑事）被告 of a 陰謀（を企てる） to 動揺させる the country in April.
