Beyonce Knowles knows all the 権利 moves.

She can swivel her hips and sashay across a concert 行う／開催する／段階. She can do the girl trio jive with her 注目する，もくろむs の近くにd, thanks to her time with 運命's Child.

But now she's over in Hollywood, learning how to do it with a Sixties flair.

Beyonc? is starring in Dreamgirls, a film based on a Broadway musical from the 早期に Eighties about a fictitious girl trio called The Dreamettes.

I first wrote about Beyonc? 存在 in this movie last January, but it's been a long, long time on the 製図／抽選 board. However, filming starts soon, に引き続いて 広範囲にわたる rehearsals.

I must 自白する that, 支援する at the beginning of the year, I got Beyonc? in the 権利 movie, but the wrong 役割. Then, I thought she was going to play the part of Effie - but that part has gone to American Idol 走者-up Jennifer Hudson.

Beyonc? will play the part of ambitious Deena, a beautiful but ruthless singer who 押し進めるs Effie out of the group.

Anika Noni Rose, a 行う／開催する／段階 actress I've seen on

Broadway, plays the other singer in the group.

Jamie Foxx, who is terrific in Sam Mendes's 爆発性の movie Jarhead, also 星／主役にするs along with Eddie Murphy and Danny Glover.

法案 Condon has adapted the late Michael Bennett's 行う／開催する／段階 show and will direct it, 適切な for Dreamworks.

I say that not just because the movie's 肩書を与える and studio 指名する are 類似の, but also because David Geffen, a partner in Dreamworks, produced the show on Broadway and has long 手配中の，お尋ね者 to make it into a film.

I saw the show during its 初めの run in New York and it is one of the few musicals to have stayed with me.

It's a shame it never （機の）カム to London, although the 生産者 Robert Fox did try to do just that, many years ago, to no avail.
