Mamma Mia! Here We Go again had its 首相 in London on a 都合よく hot and 蒸し暑い night. My, my, I thought, に引き続いて the 星/主役にするs 負かす/撃墜する the red carpet ? 現実に 有望な blue, like the Aegean sea ? and into the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, West London. How can they かもしれない get away with it this time?
Nobody loves Mamma Mia more than me, but the 初めの crazy 陰謀(を企てる), featured in both the 粉砕する 攻撃する,衝突する musical 開始する,打ち上げるd in 1999 and then the film adaptation in 2008, is really little more than a threadbare quilt on to which a patchwork of Abba songs is stitched at 正規の/正選手 intervals.
It doesn’t seem to lend itself to closer examination ? or indeed even a sequel, no 事柄 how big the 予算, but here we are, 雷鳴ing along to the unstoppable ABBA (警官の)巡回区域,受持ち区域 once more.

In both this sequel and the 初めの, the 活動/戦闘 centres around the fact that Donna (Streep) is a hotelier on a Greek island who didn’t know which one of three men had fathered her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried). The new film, in an 爆発 of cheesecloth and Seventies kitsch, goes 支援する in time to 調査する 正確に/まさに why this happened.

Perhaps he has been gargling with treacle in the 介入するing years or finally 選ぶd the thorn out of his paw that was 原因(となる)ing him so much 苦痛 but he sounds fantastic. Okay, he sounds okay. 井戸/弁護士席, 罰金. Okay, he is not terrible.
The tunes fit in rather better than they did in the 初めの, where いつかs they were jackhammered on to the 活動/戦闘. For example, when Donna locks herself in the loo in the first film, her pal Rosie (Julie Walters) sings Chiquitita to her through the keyhole, as you do. ‘Now I see you’ve broken a feather, I hope we can patch it up together,’ Julie warbles, sounding rather like a pipit needing a pee-pee herself.

On your bike: Els ewhere the bigger 予算 gives the film the 会社/堅い smack of Hollywood pizzazz and a polish that was 欠如(する)ing in the rather ramshackle first Mamma Mia!
In the new film, Lily strolls through an orange grove in a hippy skirt, singing The 指名する Of The Game after one of her beaux has been いっそう少なく than honest.
Mamma Mia remains implausible, ありそうもない and utterly glorious. Who can ask for anything more, as they might sing themselves.
