Over 50? These are ten styles you're wearing which make you look old
There are 概して four fashion ages, starting in your teens with ‘Love It, Don’t Care What It Looks Like On Me’.
The second age is ‘I Love It But Should I?’ During this 段階 you discover whether you are more in the ‘Must Look On 傾向’ or the ‘Just Want To Look Gorgeous’ （軍の）野営地，陣営. It’s the longest fashion 段階 and you bend more one way than the other until, 結局, you find the 位置／汚点／見つけ出す where you’re most comfortable.
The third age is ‘Does My Bum Look Big In This?’ It’s not that you’ve never considered whether your bum looks big before, but now it’s your first consideration along with does anything else look big and do my 脚s look shorter. You still care a lot about fashion but more about how you look.
And finally there’s the fourth 行う／開催する／段階 ― the one we’re in now ― when the 無視／無効ing 優先 is Not Looking Our Age. In this 段階 you’re still fashion conscious, 団体／死体 conscious, gorgeous-率ing conscious, susceptible to the 半端物 mad 購入（する）, but everything starts with trying not to look the age we are or older.
And the secret of not looking our age is 最終的に not about buying 確かな 着せる／賦与するs and 従犯者s so much as getting 熟知させるd with the Avoidable Ageing 罠（にかける）s (AAT) and making sure you don’t 落ちる into them.
There are some things you take for 認めるd that, in your fifties, you need to 再考する, like your bra size. There are 着せる／賦与するs you own that seem innocuous and useful that may need discarding 正確に because innocuous and useful is ageing. And there are 安全な 解答s you need to put on the Wear いっそう少なく 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） ― 海軍 tailoring, believe it or not.
The good news is that 直す／買収する，八百長をするing most of the ageing 罠（にかける）s doesn’t 伴う／関わる spending money...?
Still wearing 黒人／ボイコット?
Maybe you saw the picture of Helen Mirren in a pink dress that had a triangular keyhole without showing any cleavage (tick).?
A 黒人／ボイコット dress would have been predictable, and an AAT. Strong colour and a bold 削減（する） （警官の）巡回区域，受持ち区域s the subtle 選択s and her hair was 都合よく smooth (tick); her earrings were the size of gulls’ eggs (tick) and her lipstick was a shade of the same pink (tick).?

Skipping a salon blow 乾燥した，日照りの?
The two most ありふれた ageing 罠（にかける）s are a) too done hair and b) too undone hair.??
Admittedly this is a tricky area but glossy, 井戸／弁護士席-dyed, 井戸／弁護士席-groomed hair is the 創立／基礎 of looking good for your age and you have to spend 概略で 80 per cent more time on it than you did 20 years ago.?

If you’re not 用意が出来ている to show your 武器, don’t buy sleeveless and (sorry to bludgeon this home) unfit 武器 are 最高の，を越す of the AAT chart.?

Past-it undies
Refresh your underwear drawer or ? to put it another way ? sort out your VPL (明白な Pants Line) and your VBB ( 明白な Bra Bulge).VBB is all about a too tight fit.?
Try bras on in a place where you can be 手段d (示すs & Spencer).?
VPL is easily solved by swapping saggy cotton for techno fabric (the secret isn’t bigger pants but a seamless, slinkier fit).?

Not wearing sunglasses

Keeping things for best is a classic AAT. You don’t have to wear your best wedding dress to work 今後, but you could think about getting out your ヒョウ print coat and wearing it to death, because a bit of ヒョウ is an age uplifter in any season ? and it was big on the Dior Autumn 2024 catwalk.
The same goes for jewellery. Big pearls on hoop earrings or a 相当な chain are still going strong.?

Jewellery doesn’t have to be big, but the days of the delicate gold chain are over and that 控訴s us. Delicate anything disappears on the 50-加える.

Hiding your waist

- Crochet. If you happen to have any, get rid.
- Your 'nobody is looking' ジーンズs. Why not wear the ones that make you look good?
- Big linen shirts

- Little tailored jackets. Keep your bigger 二塁打-breasted and cropped 辛勝する／優位-to-辛勝する／優位 ones
