The cosmetic tweaks a man CAN have that won't give him a 'pillow 直面する', from 激しい beams of light to 肌-regenerating jabs

When A-名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） actor Ryan Gosling was recently 促進するing his new film, The 落ちる Guy, fans were quick to point out that he looked a little... different. Others were いっそう少なく 外交の.

'Ryan Gosling, please step away from the filler,' said one unkind commentator on X/Twitter, 明確に 示唆するing his 直面する showed tell-tale 調印するs of some rather 激しい-手渡すd cosmetic enhancement.

So has the Barbie 星／主役にする, 43, had some work done? As a reporter who's specialised in 令状ing about aesthetic 薬／医学, as this area is known, even I can't say for sure. But it wouldn't come as a shock.

Tweaking 直面するs, whether male or 女性（の）, is a delicate 商売／仕事. Get it 権利 and no one will be any the wiser. Get it wrong and you'll be rumbled ? the human 注目する，もくろむ is good at spotting when something is off.

So how can men use subtle 治療s to look refreshed but not 極端に 'done'?

I spoke to three 専門家s to find out the best tweaks for men...

AVOID TOO MUCH BOTOX ? MEN LOOK BETTER WITH A FEW LINES?

Botox 作品 by 鈍らせるing 負かす／撃墜する the activity of muscles, and has become famous for erasing wrinkles. And it can also stop the corners of the mouth drooping and 緩和する the 外見 of a 緊張するd, stringy-looking neck, both of which can happen 自然に with age.

In women, Botox 注射s can be used to create a 解除する and arch to the eyebrows, but this isn't a trick to try on a man.

'There are some things which are part and 小包 of 扱う／治療するing 女性（の） 直面するs that we must not do when it comes to male 直面するs,' says Dr Sach Mohan of the 深い尊敬の念を抱く clinics in London. 'With Botox, raising the brows will feminise a male 直面する. We can also use the jabs to 軟化する a square jaw ? which is good for women but not men.'

Dr Raj Thethi, who runs the Yorkshire 肌 Centre in 物陰／風下d, agrees. 'I prefer to use いっそう少なく Botox in men,' he says, 'It's nice for men to have some lines and wrinkles when they move their 直面するs ? it makes them look わずかに more rugged.'

IF YOU'RE AN ACTION MAN BE CAREFUL WITH FILLERS

Dermal fillers are injectable gels used to 追加する 容積／容量 to 直面するs.

In women, they're popular for plumping up lips ? although too much will result in an overblown trout-pout. Used 慎重に, they can 軟化する hollowness in a 直面する that's ageing ? we 自然に appear more gaunt as we get older.

While they can also 高める the contours of the cheekbones and jawline, too much filler will create a puffy, unattractive result that is mockingly called 'pillow 直面する'.

'Inexperienced injectors often don't differentiate between what male and 女性（の） 直面するs need with filler,' says Dr David Jack, who has clinics in London and Edinburgh. 'This can give weird results.'

'With men and fillers, we want to create more angles in the 直面する which we associate with masculine features,' 追加するs Dr Thethi.

'That can mean 広げるing the cheekbones while keeping the cheeks flat at the 前線 ? 追加するing too much 容積／容量 looks too feminine.'

And if you're a budding 活動／戦闘 hero, hear this. 'One of the biggest 問題／発行するs with actors who are 主要な up to an 活動／戦闘 役割 is that I am in 競争 with their personal trainers, who are only 焦点（を合わせる）d on their （弁護士の）依頼人's 団体／死体,' says Dr Mohan. FIX DAMAGED SKIN WITH INTENSE BEAMS OF LIGHT?

'治療s such as 激しい Pulsed Light (IPL) 減ずる 超過 pigmentation and have become more popular with men,' says Dr Jack, who uses them in the same way as he would on women ? to make their 肌 トン more even.

IPL uses beams of light that '粉々にする' pigmented 独房s beneath the 肌 ? brown age 位置／汚点／見つけ出すs or the red of facial thread veins. The resulting 破片 is （疑いを）晴らすd away by the 団体／死体's 免疫の system.

Radiofrequency microneedling ? which resurfaces and 強化するs the 肌 ? is popular with both men and women.

This is done using a pen-like 装置 that 運動s hair-罰金

needles into the 肌. These then 配達する radiofrequency energy ? a type of heat ? under the 肌. Essentially this 原因（となる）s 損失 that subsequently 傷をいやす／和解させるs as new, firmer 肌.

If driven deeper into the 肌, the needles can destroy fat.

'They are often the first 治療s men have as they 焦点（を合わせる） on 改善するing 穏やかな scars and 肌 トン but won't 原因（となる） 劇の changes,' says Dr Mohan.

JABS THAT REGENERATE YOUNGER-LOOKING SKIN

There are a 範囲 of 治療s 治めるd 経由で 多重の 注射s which encourage the regeneration of collagen ? a protein that 供給するs structure and firmness in the 肌 ? and elastin ? which 許すs the 肌 to stretch. These are also unisex.

One of the most popular is 'injectable moisturiser' Profhilo. The therapy 伴う／関わるs jabs of hyaluronic 酸性の ? the same 実体 used in many fillers but in a far more diluted 集中.

Then there are polynucleotides, which are injectable serums 含む／封じ込めるing fragments of デオキシリボ核酸 taken from salmon and trout sperm.

They both regenerate the 肌 without 追加するing any 容積／容量.
