Data from Kantar shows sales in 12 weeks to February 18, 2024 compared to 12 weeks to February 19, 2023:

Ten years ago Asda was in a far stronger position with a 16.9 per cent 株 of the market, but it has since come under 激しい 圧力 from Lidl and Aldi.

However, Britons still 設立する room within their 予算s to celebrate Valentine's Day, with spending on steak and boxed chocolate up by 12 per cent and 16 per cent compared with last year.

The end of '乾燥した,日照りの January' saw total alcohol sales jumping by 18 per cent in 容積/容量 条件 on the previous month, with 消費者s buying 28 per cent more ワイン and 16 per cent more beer and lager.
