Shoppers are 存在 fooled by 誤って導くing supermarket 調印するs and labels that are dressing up 輸入するd food as British.

Union Jacks and 'Made in Britain' stamps were printed on the 一括ing of some Aldi pork and beef 製品s, even though they used EU meat.

And 棚上げにするs laden with tomatoes from Morocco, parsley from Italy and 甘い 小型の peppers from Spain sat on a shelf under a large 旗,新聞一面トップの大見出し/大々的に報道する decorated with a Union Jack.

The findings are the result of an 調査 by Which? 研究員s, who also 設立する that 消費者s are keen to buy British. The 熟考する/考慮する 設立するd that almost two in three - 64 per cent - would be more likely to buy a 製品 labelled 'British' than one that was not.

However, 混乱 creeps in because these 支配するs do not genera lly 適用する to 過程d 製品s, such as ready meals, sausages, pizzas, pies and many frozen or 過程d fruits and vegetables.

These 含むd cauliflowers, red cabbage, courgettes and onions at Sainsbury's, peppers, melons and mangoes at Asda and spring onions at Aldi.

The supermarkets 主張する they support British food and 農業者s and do all they can to 供給する honest labels.

Aldi said: 'When it comes to fresh fruit and veg, we are proud to support British 農業者s and 目的(とする) to 在庫/株 British produce whenever it's 利用できる.

'顧客s understand that at this time of year that isn't always possible.'
