Over the last nine months restaurants in South むちの跡s have waited with baited breath for the police to catch a couple who could just be Britain's worst 顧客s.

Arriving in a blue Ford 先頭, and often with a large group of people 含むing children tailing behind them, the pair order the most expensive dishes on the menu - typically steaks - along with starters and fizzy drinks.

However, when the time comes to 支払う/賃金 the 法案, problems arise. Cards get 拒絶する/低下するd, they run out of cash and, when the owners at staff aren't looking, the 以前 happy 顧客s make a run for it without squaring their tab.

Their antics, which have been branded '破滅的な' by one of their 申し立てられた/疑わしい 犠牲者s, have left a 追跡する of 商売/仕事s flailing in their wake and unable to 接触する them after 存在 供給(する)d with '偽の' phone numbers.

Furious restaurateurs, who between them were left more than £1,000 out of pocket, splashed CCTV images of their outrageous behaviour on social マスコミ, 誘発するing fury の中で the public, and a manhunt from 法律 施行.

The couple, since 明らかにする/漏らすd to be Bernard McDonagh, 41, and his wife Ann McDonagh, 39, were quickly identified as other eateries (機の)カム 今後 to 告発する/非難する them of wrong doing, and the police (機の)カム knocking on the door of their Port Talbot home.

It's a question that the restaurant owners 攻撃する,衝突する by the couple's 罪,犯罪 spree, which took place between August 2023 and April this year, might want to ask too given this behaviour has the 可能性のある to 廃虚 their 商売/仕事s.

Emily Langford, 経営者/支配人 of the family-run restaurant the Yard, in Cowbridge, believes she is one of their 犠牲者s.

She told MailOnline last month that each member of the group ordered starters, mains and two 瓶/封じ込めるs of fizzy drinks each.

Once they had finished, most of them 恐らく left the 前提s, leaving the woman to settle the tab.

She 恐らく (機の)カム to the 反対する and tried to 支払う/賃金 with her card, which was 拒絶する/低下するd twice, before asking staff for the nearest cashpoint and disappearing out of sight after walking out the door.

Ms Langford told MailOnline: 'They left the woman to 支払う/賃金. And she stood up and said 'Oh, is it okay? If I come to the 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業 to 支払う/賃金?' and we said that was 罰金.

'She was 基本的に buttering me and my mum up and was 説 lots of nice things to us. But as she put her card in it got 拒絶する/低下するd. She was like 'oh that's weird' and it 拒絶する/低下するd again.

'She said she would call her son and sort out a bank 移転, but we weren't comfortable with that and asked if she could 支払う/賃金 in cash and showed her where the nearest cash point was.

'I showed her where it was and as I turned my 長,率いる 支援する through the door to tell my mum she was at the cash point, by the time I turned around again she was gone.'

This 'dine and dash' playbook has been 恐らく (軍隊を)展開する,配備するd by the couple in each of the 出口s they have 攻撃する,衝突する in the last year.

にもかかわらず all seven restaurants 報告(する)/憶測ing the couple to the police, the 軍隊 are still working to identify them and 跡をつける them 負かす/撃墜する.

Ms Langford said the 窃盗 was '破滅的な' for her restaurant, which she runs with both her mother and father.

She said: 'It's 破滅的な. Because 明白に, all 歓待 is really, really struggling at the minute, like we'll put our 手渡すs up and say we're not doing 同様に as we were doing a couple of years ago, and I'm sure that a lot of 歓待 are feeling the same 同様に, and we know restaurants that are の近くにing around us.

'There's not many restaurants left here in Cowbridge and the High Street here is dying. I just don't want it to happen to anybody else.'

When the couple walked into Bella Ciao Italian restaurant in Swansea earlier this year as part of a group of eight they racked up a £329 法案, they had no qualms about leaving without 支払う/賃金ing th e 法案.

CCTV (映画の)フィート数 from the restaurant showed Mrs McDonagh 試みる/企てるing to 支払う/賃金 the 法案 with a 貯金 account card, which was 拒絶する/低下するd twice.
