The 絵, by the renowned artist Jonathan Yeo, was （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限d in 2020 to celebrate the then-Prince of むちの跡s's 50 years as a member of The Drapers' Company.
It 描写するs His Majesty wearing the uniform of the Welsh Guards, of which he was made Regimental 陸軍大佐 in 1975.
Today, Yeo spoke of a バタフライ on the portrait echoing Charles's 'metamorphosis' from Prince to King during the 過程 - and the 君主 joked that it was nice to know he was a chrysalis.

Yeo said: 'It was a 特権 and 楽しみ to have been （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限d by The Drapers' Company to paint thi s portrait of His Majesty The King, the first to be 明かすd since his 載冠（式）／即位（式）.
'When I started this 事業／計画（する）, His Majesty The King was still His 王室の Highness The Prince of むちの跡s, and much like the バタフライ I've painted hovering over his shoulder, this portrait has 発展させるd as the 支配する's 役割 in our public life has transformed.
'I do my best to 逮捕（する） the life experiences etched into any individual sitter's 直面する. In this 事例／患者, my 目的（とする） was also to make 言及／関連 to the traditions of 王室の portraiture but in a way that 反映するs a 21st Century 君主国 and, above all else, to communicate the 支配する's 深い humanity.
