As at any other time of the year, during the festive period airport 安全 公式の／役人s have one 優先 - elf and safety.

So 乗客s packing 現在のs should be mindful that some Christmas items could 原因（となる） 延期するs ? 特に if pre-wrapped ? or will be 押収するd.

To 確実にする that all 現在のs make it to the Christmas tree, London Luton Airport (LLA) is 最高潮の場面ing how carry-on 支配するs 適用する to seasonal gifts and goodies.

The first tip relates to liquid items which, as many たびたび（訪れる） flyers will know, will be 押収するd by 安全 staff if they 手段 over 100ml.

This 適用するs to Christmassy items such as 瓶／封じ込めるs of 検討する，考慮するd ワイン and gel candles, which should be packed in a 乗客's 持つ／拘留する luggage instead, the airport says.

いっそう少なく obvious items 支配する to the 100ml 支配する are brandy butter, Christmas chutneys and cranberry sauce.

LLA says: 'You might not think it, but brandy butter is classed as a liquid and 支配する to 没収 if over the 100ml 限界. Same goes for mincemeat and chutneys.'

And while Cranberry sauce may be integral to a Christmas dinner, unless it's in a 100ml jar, says LLA, 'its gelatinous consistency puts it too far into liquid 支配するs 領土 to be 許すd in a carry-on'.

The airport 追加するs: 'It's best to keep all your edibles and spreadables in checked luggage or 安全な at home to 避ける 失望.'

Snow globes are also a no-no for carry-on luggage, with LLA 明言する／公表するing: 'As the liquid content isn't 規定するd on these items, you cannot take in 手渡す luggage. Pack securely in checked luggage instead.'

Other festive items that could land you in trouble with 安全 staff are Christmas crackers and cheese knives, によれば LLA.

'While not universally banned as a travel item, different 航空機によるs have different 政策s on bringing crackers onboard so be sure to check your 航空機による's 政策 before you 飛行機で行く,' it says.

'And in general, you are 禁じるd from travelling with sharp 反対するs in your carry-on baggage, so we recommend leaving your cheese knife at home and sourcing at your 目的地.'

LLA is also advising holidaymakers against packing wrapped 現在のs in their 手渡す luggage, as 'thousands of wrapped 現在のs are 審査するd, opened and searched every year as part of airport 安全 checks'.

This is 奮起させるd by a scene from Christmas film Love 現実に, where 蓄える／店 労働者 Rufus, played by Atkinson, overwraps a gift for Harry, played by Alan Rickman.

'In a nod to the comedic 交流 between the two much-loved characters, the service 含むs gift 包む paper, tags, adorning 略章s and さまざまな festive extras 含むing 乾燥した，日照りのd flowers, cinnamon sticks and lavender,' LLA says.

'The bespoke wrapping paper features a snowflake motif made from an aeroplane 形式 to 供給する a final 繁栄する for 乗客s' gift 一括s.'

The service comes as 38 per cent of travellers （人命などを）奪う，主張する to have never come across airport 指導／手引 advising against packing gift-wrapped 現在のs, while 22 per cent are unaware of 付加 審査 必要物／必要条件s for wrapped 現在のs.

Clare Armstrong, 長，率いる of Guest Experience at London Luton Airport, says: 'Given the high number of wrapped 現在のs we see in 安全 each year, we realised many o f our 乗客s are unaware of the 可能性 that they may need to be opened for 査察. So, the idea for our gift 包む service was born to create a fun experience for 乗客s, while minimising any unwanted 延期するs or 強調する／ストレス when travelling this festive season.

'We’re always looking for ways to help 乗客s have the most simple and friendly experience at the airport and pre-empt any challenges they might 直面する - 特に over Christmas and the new year when we will welcome 240,000 出発／死ing 乗客s to the 終点.'
