'I'm gay,' 収容する／認めるs REM frontman

激しく揺する 禁止（する）d REM's frontman Michael Stipe today 明らかにする／漏らすd he was gay, ending years of 憶測 about his sexuality.

The 41-year-old singer told Time magazine he was a 'queer artist' who had been in a 関係 with a man for three years.

His 発覚 comes after years of 憶測 about his sexuality, and 誤った rumours that he had 援助（する）s.

Today Stipe told the magazine he believed it was the 権利 time to 明らかにする／漏らす his sexuality.

'I was 存在 made to be a coward about it, rather than someone who felt like it really was a very 私的な thing,' he told the magazine.

He said he had been in a 関係 for about three years, 述べるing his partner as 'an amazing man' and 追加するing that he was not a celebrity.
