Dog attacks on the rise in SA
Dog attacks are on the rise in South Australia, with young children often the 犠牲者s, the 最新の 人物/姿/数字s show.
The 明言する/公表する's Dog and Cat 管理/経営 Board says there were 1347 attacks in the past 財政上の year, up from 1318 the previous year.
It says 479 attacks were on people, with 299 扱う/治療するd in hospital.
環境 大臣 Ian Hunter says hospital admissions have been growing 刻々と over the past five years from 195 in 2010.
"Unfortunately, young children under nine year of age 耐える the brunt of these attacks, with 56 children in this age group hospitalised with dog bites last year," Mr Hunter said.
