MPs rail against frozen 明言する／公表する 年金 '不正' in ありふれたs, and 労働 誓約（する）s to support 550,000 年輩の expats in 未解決の manifesto

労働 is to 含む a 誓約（する） to unfreeze expats' 明言する／公表する 年金s in its 選挙 manifesto, but the Tory 政府 defended 存在するing 政策 in a House of ありふれたs 審議 this week.

Cross-party calls by MPs to start giving 550,000 British pensioners living overseas the same 年次の payout 引き上げ（る）s as all other retirees were rebuffed by the 政府.

明言する／公表する 年金s are frozen when you first retire or move abroad if you decide to live in 確かな countries, such as Canada, India and Australia, but not in others - 軍隊ing many to struggle with the cost of living or give up and return home.??

It means some expats who retired when the basic 率 was £67.50 a week in 2000 still get that, rather than the £122.30 now received by others who retired that year.

But the 政府 argues the 年次の cost of doing even this would 結局 増大する from £30million to £500million. This is because those on much lower 年金s will die and be 取って代わるd by expats with higher payouts, 主要な 明言する／公表する 年金s to 徐々に become equal for everyone in 未来 years.

The anomaly in payouts is because the 政府 has struck individual 取引，協定s with some countries but not with around 150 others, にもかかわらず many of them 存在 連邦／共和国 nations.

People moving abroad can be 影響する／感情d even if they paid 十分な 国家の 保険 出資／貢献s in the UK during their working lives.

In a 新たな展開, those who live in a country where 支払い（額）s are not uprated can get higher 支払い（額）s for periods of time they spend 支援する in the UK, for example on a family holiday.

He 非難するd the 'ludicrous 状況／情勢' where a British pensioner living on one 味方する of the Niagara 落ちるs in Canada receives a frozen 年金 while another living just a mile across the 落ちるs in the US has a 年金 uprated every year.?

Party leader Jeremy Corbyn also recently threw his 負わせる behind moves to overturn 長年の 規則s that 封鎖する expats living on frozen 明言する／公表する 年金s from getting payouts like other retirees.?

During Thurday's 審議, Cunningham asked: 'Why in this globalised world should the country in which a person retires by choice or by other means 影響する／感情 the 年金 they have worked hard to earn for 45 years or more?'

He went on: 'This doesn't sound like a fair system to me. It sounds like a system which leaves hundreds of thousands of pensioners with 不確定 about their 未来, their 財政上の position and 最終的に their wellbeing.'

In the past few years, it has routinely risen by 2.5 per cent because salary 増加するs have remained weak and the インフレーション 率 low.

Expats who come 支援する to the UK, whether for a short visit or for good, get their 明言する／公表する 年金 uprated 支援する to the 十分な 量 again if they 適用する to the DWP service centre.

選挙運動者s argue that people might 支払う／賃金 国家の 保険 their whole life, but still receive a 減ずるd 明言する／公表する 年金 just because they choose to retire abroad to one country over another.

They say the cost of unfreezing expat 明言する／公表する 年金s would be 相殺する because the 政府 makes 貯金 on every pensioner who moves abroad at 退職, since they don't use the NHS and care services or take other 利益s.

The International 国際借款団／連合 of British Pensioners, which is の中で pensioner groups （選挙などの）運動をするing on the 問題／発行する, was 予定 to discuss the 事柄 with Harrington at a 会合 on Wednesday, but this was cancelled に引き続いて the surprise 選挙 告示.
