Drivers 近づく a newly built £20 million 'nightmare' roundabout have branded it an '絶対の 災害' 説 the 混乱させるing 小道／航路s mean no one knows which way to go around it.

Road 使用者s across Basingstoke, Hampshire, said the Brighton Hill roundabout has been a '完全にする waste of money' after waiting almost two years for it to be finished.

HGV driver ツバメ Squires 述べるd the roundabout as an '事故 zone'. The 60 year old said: 'The layout is wrong. If you are coming up from Harrow Way, you've got two 小道／航路s but in the 権利 手渡す 小道／航路 - people are going left.

In particular, Mr Squires said the 'signage', 'layout' and 'actual white lines' are 原因（となる）ing problems for drivers.

The 失望させるd driver 追加するd: 'I think there's already been 事故s up there.

'I have been 運動ing for over 40 years so it doesn't 段階 me but some of the people on the roads nowadays - they're just blinkered by everything.

'It's just an 事故 黒人／ボイコット 位置／汚点／見つけ出す. My kids say 'it's an 絶対の nightmare'.'

Another Basingstoke 地元の, Audrey Groom, said 'no one seems to 特に like' the '混乱させるing' new roundabout.

She said: 'I know which 小道／航路 I am supposed to be in now but other people don't so I have got to be aware that somebody might 削減（する） in 前線 of me.

'Today, I went a different way to 避ける it. Fortunately, 存在 地元の we know different ways.'

Discussing the large sum of money spent on building the roundabout, the 65-year-old retired 国家の 信用 労働者 said 'it's just ridiculous'.

'Other people are 説 it's difficult - danger comes along with that. It'll be 利益／興味ing to see the number of 事故s.'

'I have got used to it now but I can imagine people find it difficult.'

Zoltan Racz, 50, has also struggled to navigate the roundabout. He said: 'The other cars get 混乱させるd and change 小道／航路s. The 小道／航路s are 混乱させるing so we don't know which 小道／航路 to 選ぶ.

'There's lots of 混乱させるing roundabouts in Basingstoke - this is by far the worst.

'There's no （疑いを）晴らす signage, no proper 小道／航路s painted on.'

Mr Racz - who 作品 in marketing - said when they first heard the roundabout would be changed, he was hoping it would 改善する 輸送（する） in the area.

He said: 'We thought it was going to be better. When they started it we just thought that they would put an extra 小道／航路 in.'

His daughter, Boglarka, is 'in the middle' of learning to 運動 and Mr Racz said her 指導者 had to pre-準備する her to 運動 across the roundabout by showing her a 地図／計画する.

His wife, Judit Straub, 47, 追加するd: 'It's やめる 混乱させるing. I don't think it's safer than it was two or three years ago.

'It was much more safer for people who walk before - it was safer for them to go under [the underpass].

'Now there are traffic lights and they are above the ground.'

事前の to the work, 歩行者s could get across the roundabout by walking through an underpass below the roundabout. Now, they have to walk around it and use the traffic lights.

David Appleby, 51, said he doesn't 本人自身で mind the roundabout but said the two years of building work was a 失望させるing.

He said: 'It took ages to build it - it was a 苦痛 in the backside when it was 存在 built but people need to get used to it. Everyone always moans about what they have done.

'It was an awful roundabout to get 一連の会議、交渉／完成する in the first place so they needed to do something to it.'
