He is one of the world¡Çs biggest diet influencers, famous for »Ù»ý¤¹¤ëing a diet of raw meat and offal. Over the past few years Brian Johnson ? better known as the ´Î¡ King ? has amassed a Ï¢¹ç¤µ¤»¤ëd nine million ¿®Êô¼Ôs on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with his often stomach-churning ¥Ó¥Ç¥ªs.
In one clip, extraordinarily muscular Johnson, 47, is seen topless while ÎÞ¡¿¤Û¤³¤í¤Óing into uncooked animal testicles ? which he says he washes É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë with scotch whiskey ? for breakfast. In others, he eats alligator tail, raw bull ÇÙs and a foetal duck egg (´Þ¤àing its feathers, bone and beak). The idea is that by ¤Ë°ú¤Â³¤¤¤Æ his ¡Æprimal¡Ç way of living, you too could ãÀ®¤¹¤ë his ÃíÌܤ¹¤ë¡¤¤â¤¯¤í¤à-popping physique.
However, all may not be ¤ä¤á¤ë as it seems. In December 2022 Johnson ǧ¤á¤ë in a six-minute YouTube clip to taking anabolic steroids to ËÜÂΡ¤ÂçÉôʬ¡¿¤Ð¤éÀѤߤΠup, ¤Ë¤â¤«¤«¤ï¤é¤º having °ÊÁ° ¡Ê¿ÍÌ¿¤Ê¤É¤ò¡ËÃ¥¤¦¡¤¼çÄ¥¤¹¤ëd that his ÃÄÂΡ¿»àÂÎ was ¡Æall natural¡Ç and the result of ¤Ë°ú¤Â³¤¤¤Æ a caveman lifestyle.

Yet, far from ¸ºß a Íî¤Á¤ë from grace, the admission has barely made a dent in his empire. The former À½Ìô¤Î rep now lives in an 8,300-square foot mansion on a ranch in Texas with his wife, a retired dentist, and their two sons.
His branded ´Î¡ King protein ºÕ¤¯s, Êä¡ʤ¹¤ë¡Ës and ˸¤²¤ë¡¿Ë¡ÄÊÛ¸î»Î¶Ès often appear in his ¥Ó¥Ç¥ªs and his ³µ»»¤Î ÂáÊ᤹¤ë ²ÁÃ͡ʤ¬¤¢¤ë¡Ë is ¡ò250million (US $310million).
But how do his ¡Ê¿ÍÌ¿¤Ê¤É¤ò¡ËÃ¥¤¦¡¤¼çÄ¥¤¹¤ës about diet stack up? We spoke to Britain¡Çs ºÇ¹â¤Î¡¤¤ò±Û¤¹ ÀìÌç²Ès to find out, and discovered that ¤Ë°ú¤Â³¤¤¤Æ the ´Î¡ King¡Çs advice could have some ¶Ëü¤Ë unpleasant consequences.
Johnson¡Çs catchphrase, and where his moniker comes from, is ¡Æ´Î¡ is king¡Ç.
He ¡Ê¿ÍÌ¿¤Ê¤É¤ò¡ËÃ¥¤¦¡¤¼çÄ¥¤¹¤ës to eat it, raw, for breakfast lunch and dinner. ¤Ë¤è¤ì¤Ð the meal ·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë on his website, he ¾ÃÈñ¤¹¤ës more than a ³¤±¤¶¤Þ¤ËÌԷ⤹¤ë of ´Î¡ a day ¤È°ì½ï¤Ë a protein shake and other raw or cooked meat.
He says it ¶¡µë¤¹¤ës ¡Æ·èÄêŪ¤Ê nourishment ¹ÔÊýÉÔÌÀ¤Î in modernity, like real bioavailable ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó A¡Ç.
´Î¡ is, indeed, a very rich source of ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó A, which is ɬ¿Ü¤Î for »ý³¤¹¤ëing the ÃÄÂΡ¿»àÂΡÇs ¸«Ä̤·, ÆÈ˼ ʬ³ä, reproduction and Ìȱ֤Πsystem, supporting È© health and ÆÈ˼ growth.
But if you eat too much ´Î¡, it can lead to ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó A ÍÆÇÀ, says Gunter Kuhnle, Professor of ±ÉÍÜ and Food Science at Univer sity of Reading.
This is because, unlike other ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ós, the ÃÄÂΡ¿»àÂÎ Ãߤ¨¤ë¡¿Å¹s ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó A in the ´Î¡.
¡ÆIf you ate too much ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó C, your ÃÄÂΡ¿»àÂÎ would just excrete it in your urine,¡Ç says Clare Thornton »Ù»ý¤òÆÀ¤è¤¦¤ÈÅؤá¤ëd, a ÅÐÏ¿¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ëd dietician and spokesperson for the ¶¨²ñ of UK Dieticians. ¡ÆBut if you eat large ÎÌs of ´Î¡, it could ¸½¼Â¤Ë be ÀøºßŪ¤Ë dangerous.¡Ç
Brian Johnson with his girlfriend the '´Î¡ Queen'
The recommended intake of ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó A for adults is 600 to 700 micrograms (mcg) per day and Professor Kuhnle says a Áª¤Ó½Ð¤¹¡¿ÆÈ¿È ounce of beef ´Î¡ ´Þ¤à¡¿Éõ¤¸¹þ¤á¤ës over 2,100mcg.
½Ï¹Í¤¹¤ë¡¿¹Íθ¤¹¤ës have shown that ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó A ÍÆÇÀ can occur if you ¾ÃÈñ¤¹¤ë over 8,000mcg a day for a »Ù¤¨¤ëd period, which is only about four ounces of ´Î¡.
¡ÆDon¡Çt do it would be my advice,¡Ç says Prof Kuhnle.
Symptoms of ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó A ÍÆÇÀ ´Þ¤à ´¥Á礷¤¿¡¤Æü¾È¤ê¤Î, ³ä¤ìÌÜd È©, hair loss, brittle nails, ÈèÏ«¡¤¡Ê·³¤Î¡Ë»¨Ìò, loss of appetite and bone and ¶¦Æ±¤Î ¶ìÄË, and it can ±Æ¶Á¤¹¤ë¡¿´¶¾ð your bone health, ¼çÍ×¤Ê to osteoporosis and hip fractures. ¡ÆThere is no known Íø±× to ¾ÃÈñ¤¹¤ëing ¹Âç¤Ê ÎÌs of ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó A, and a lot of known ´í¸±s,¡Ç Äɲ乤ës Prof Kuhnle.
The ´Î¡ King website ÌÀ¸À¤¹¤ë¡¿¸øɽ¤¹¤ës that ´Î¡ is a good source of other nutrients too, such as ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó B12, folate and ¥¢¥¤¥í¥ó¤ò¤«¤±¤ë.
¡ÆI don¡Çt Ʊ°Õ¤·¤Ê¤¤ that ´Î¡ is a source of many nutrients,¡Ç says Ms Thornton-»Ù»ý¤òÆÀ¤è¤¦¤ÈÅؤá¤ëd. ¡ÆBut you only need small ÎÌs of those nutrients every day and eating ´Î¡ every day in large ÎÌs is still dangerous.¡Ç
Johnson is ÆÃ¤Ë fond of eating raw ÁÈ¿¥¡¿Â¡´ïs and testicles, and recommends everyone ²ñ¼Ò¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿ÁȤ߹þ¤à ´Î¡, heart, ·ì, bone ¹ü¿ñ and bone broth into their diet
The ´Î¡ King Äê´üŪ¤Ë eats raw meat and ¾ÃÈñ¤¹¤ës raw eggs. ¡ÆWe ȯŸ¤µ¤»¤ëd Áá´ü¤Ë on with raw animal foods,¡Ç he says in one ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª. ¡ÆBrain and bone ¹ü¿ñ was probably our first food and it was all raw.¡Ç
He thinks that, since ¸ÅÂå¤Î humans used to eat both cooked and raw food, modern humans should, too.
Johnson is ÆÃ¤Ë fond of eating raw ÁÈ¿¥¡¿Â¡´ïs and testicles, and recommends everyone ²ñ¼Ò¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿ÁȤ߹þ¤à ´Î¡, heart, ·ì, bone ¹ü¿ñ, heart and bone broth into their diet. ¡ÆNo dinner is ever ´°Á´¤Ë¤¹¤ë without raw ´Î¡, raw testicle and raw bone ¹ü¿ñ,¡Ç he said in a TikTok ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª where he sits at a ¡ÊÊÆ¡Ëê¾å¤²¤¹¤ë¡¿¡Ê±Ñ¡ËÄóµÄ¤¹¤ë surrounded by raw testicles. He once bit off the Ĺ¡¤Î¨¤¤¤ë of a wriggling fish he had just grabbed from the sea, on camera.
Stanley Ulijaszek, Emeritus Professor of Human À¸ÂÖ³Ø at the University of Oxford, says The ´Î¡ King is ¸¢Íø about the origins of our diet.
While the Âç¿¿ô of Âç¼ç¶µ ¼ïÎà lived off a diet ¤ª¤â¤Ë consisting of fruit, Áá´ü¤Ë humans ȯŸ¤µ¤»¤ëd to ¾ÃÈñ¤¹¤ë meat which was eaten raw.
Modern-day humans can also digest uncooked animal flesh ? as anyone who has enjoyed steak tartar or sushi will know.
However, ÀìÌç²Ès say that some meats are more likely to ´Þ¤à¡¿Éõ¤¸¹þ¤á¤ë dangerous bacteria ? for instance, pork can ´Þ¤à¡¿Éõ¤¸¹þ¤á¤ë ³Î¤«¤Ê parasites such a roundworm and tapeworm (although this isn¡Çt thought to be an ÌäÂ꡿ȯ¹Ô¤¹¤ë in the UK there have been »öÎã¡¿´µ¼Ôs of ´¶À÷s from undercooked pork in other countries) and chicken may harbour campylobacter. Heat ¡ÊȽ·è¤Ê¤É¤ò¡Ë²¼¤¹s these pathogens ³²¤Î¤Ê¤¤.
¡ÆWhen you cook food, you kill bugs like E. coli which can ¸¶°ø¡Ê¤È¤Ê¤ë¡Ë ´¶À÷s like salmonella an d campylobacter,¡Ç says Dr Duane Mellor of the Aston °åÎŤΠSchool for ±ÉÍÜ and ¾Úµò Based Ìô¡¿°å³Ø. Such ´¶À÷s can ¸¶°ø¡Ê¤È¤Ê¤ë¡Ë diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, cramps and even °ì»þŪ¤Ê paralysis.
There is also a small ´í¸± of ·ÀÌóing tapeworm ´¶À÷s from eating raw beef or pork.
Dr Mellor thinks there is a good ¿äÏÀ¤¹¤ë¡¿Íýͳ humans prefer cooked food: ¡ÆCooking has ±äŤ¹¤ëd human life ¸«¹þ¤ß. We get ¤è¤ê¾®¿ô¤Î ±ø¤¤ ɵ¤s now.¡Ç
In one TikTok ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª, the ´Î¡ King Áª¤Ös meat off the Ĺ¡¤Î¨¤¤¤ë of a cow, without appearing to notice it has a Èô¹Ôµ¡¤Ç¹Ô¤¯ ¤Ï¤¦ing over it. ¡ÆWith raw meat, there¡Çs always this ´í¸± that it¡Çs ±øÀ÷¤¹¤ëd with bacteria,¡Ç says Professor Kuhnle.
In December 2022 Johnson ǧ¤á¤ë in a six-minute YouTube clip to taking anabolic steroids to ËÜÂΡ¤ÂçÉôʬ¡¿¤Ð¤éÀѤߤΠup, ¤Ë¤â¤«¤«¤ï¤é¤º having °ÊÁ° ¡Ê¿ÍÌ¿¤Ê¤É¤ò¡ËÃ¥¤¦¡¤¼çÄ¥¤¹¤ëd that his ÃÄÂΡ¿»àÂÎ was ¡Æall natural¡Ç and the result of ¤Ë°ú¤Â³¤¤¤Æ a caveman lifestyle
¡ÆDo we need vegetables? Hell no,¡Ç says the ´Î¡ King in a ºÇ¶á¤Î ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª interview. ¡ÆWhy eat vegetables when you can eat testicles?¡Ç
He Äɲ乤ës: ¡ÆAnything that you¡Çre trying to get from a vegetable you can get from nose to tail nourishment.¡Ç
Red meat is known a good source of ¥¢¥¤¥í¥ó¤ò¤«¤±¤ë and zinc, ƱÍÍ¤Ë as ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó B12, and animal testicles are °ìÈÌŪ¤Ë eaten in many parts of the world: in India, goat testicles are often boiled in water with sesame, in Spain, bulls¡Ç testicles are served covered in breadcrumbs, while in the UK lamb testicles were Îò»ËŪ¤Ë eaten fried in butter.
Dietician Ms Thornton-»Ù»ý¤òÆÀ¤è¤¦¤ÈÅؤá¤ëd, Ʊ°Õ¤·¤Ê¤¤s, however, that vegetables should be sacrificed in favour of testicles, because she s ays it is impossible that get all the necessary nutrients needed to stay healthy from meat alone.
¡ÆVegetables ´Þ¤à¡¿Éõ¤¸¹þ¤á¤ë a lot of things that we need such as ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ós and minerals but also fibre,¡Ç she says.
¡ÆThese nutrients are ÀäÂРɬ¿Ü¤Î for gut health,¡Ç.
Many ½Ï¹Í¤¹¤ë¡¿¹Íθ¤¹¤ës have shown an ¶¨²ñ between Áý²Ã¤¹¤ëd dietary fibre intake and ¸º¤º¤ëd ´í¸± of cardiovascular ɵ¤ and obesity.
Moreover, ¸¦µæ show that eating a high protein diet, stripped of any vegetables, can »¼º the ¿Õ¡s.
One Chinese ½Ï¹Í¤¹¤ë¡¿¹Íθ¤¹¤ë, published in 2020, ÀßΩ¤¹¤ë that, long-¾Î¤¹¤ë¡¤¸Æ¤Ö¡¿´ü´Ö¡¿ÍѸì, a high-protein diet Áý²Ã¤¹¤ës the chance of chronic ¿Õ¡ ɵ¤ ? which can ·ë¶É lead to total ¿Õ¡ ¼ºÇÔ and death.
¡ÆYour ÃÄÂΡ¿»àÂÎ can only metabolise a ³Î¤«¤Ê ÎÌ of protein in one sitting¡Ç, says Ms Thornton-»Ù»ý¤òÆÀ¤è¤¦¤ÈÅؤá¤ëd,
¡ÆYour ¿Õ¡s can¡Çt ²áÄø it quickly enough.¡Ç
In one popular ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª, the ´Î¡ King discovers a plate of salad on his ¡ÊÊÆ¡Ëê¾å¤²¤¹¤ë¡¿¡Ê±Ñ¡ËÄóµÄ¤¹¤ë, throws it ¤Î¾å¤Ë the ¾²¤ËÂǤÁÅݤ¹ and upends the entire ¡ÊÊÆ¡Ëê¾å¤²¤¹¤ë¡¿¡Ê±Ñ¡ËÄóµÄ¤¹¤ë in disgust.
This approach to vegetables appears to be in direct ¾×ÆÍ with his suggestion that we should eat the diet of our ancestors. Professor Kuhnle points out that ¸ÅÂå¤Î humans did not always have Àܶá to meat and would often have eaten root vegetables and berries. ¡ÆÄÉÀסʤ¹¤ë¡Ëing big animals was not Ê¿°×¤Ê without a gun.¡Ç
Meat was also by no means the only source of proteins Áá´ü¤Ë humans had.
¾Úµò of fishing and seafood ¾ÃÈñ has been ÀßΩ¤¹¤ë in archaeological ¾ì½ê¡¿°ÌÃÖs all over the world.
Moreover, most Âç¼ç¶µ ¼ïÎà closely ´Ø·¸¤Î¤¢¤ë to humans Äê´üŪ¤Ë eat ¹©¾ì¡¿¿¢Êªs and insects.
¡ÆIt¡Çs not as straightforward as: hu mans were just carnivores,¡Ç says Professor Kuhnle.
¡ÆThat¡Çs just not true. People ate a much wider diet.¡Ç
Professor Ulijaszek says the ´Î¡ King is ¸¢Íø to ¼¨º¶¤¹¤ë that eating a high-cholesterol diet doesn¡Çt ¤ä¤à¤òÆÀ¤º translate into having high cholesterol
¡ÆCholesterol-rich ÁÈ¿¥¡¿Â¡´ïs or ¡ÊʬÈ礹¤ë°Ù¤Î¡ËÁ£s give us the ·èÄêŪ¤Ê nourishment that we need,¡Ç the ´Î¡ King wrote on Instagram next to a ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª where he eats two steaks at once. ¡ÆOur Áá´ü¤Ë ancestors ate it... modern day ¸¶»Ï¤Î culture tribes do... they don¡Çt have chronic ɵ¤. That ´Þ¤às heart ɵ¤.¡Ç
Professor Ulijaszek says the ´Î¡ King is ¸¢Íø to ¼¨º¶¤¹¤ë that eating a high-cholesterol diet doesn¡Çt ¤ä¤à¤òÆÀ¤º translate into having high cholesterol. ¡ÆIt does for some people, it doesn¡Çt for others. It¡Çs not a straight one-to-one ´Ø·¸.¡Ç
The ´Î¡ King may be ¤ÎÃæ¤Ç the lucky people who, for genetic ¿äÏÀ¤¹¤ë¡¿Íýͳs, doesn¡Çt need to worry, he says. ¡ÆBut he¡Çs ¼¨º¶¤¹¤ëing levels of intake that would overload some people.¡Ç
Cholesterol is a fatty ¼ÂÂÎs that is ·èÄêŪ¤Ê for many bodily µ¡Ç½¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿¹Ô»ös ? however the ÃÄÂΡ¿»àÂÎ makes it¡Çs own, in the ´Î¡. The same ²áÄø happens in animals.
This is the ¿äÏÀ¤¹¤ë¡¿Íýͳ that ´Î¡ is ¼«Á³¤Ë high in cholesterol. This is ȳ¶â to eat, ¤Ë¤è¤ì¤Ð »ØƳ´ð½às, as part of a balanced diet. But we do not need to ¾ÃÈñ¤¹¤ë cholesterol to produce it.
°ìÊý¡¿¹ç´Ö, a ºÇ¶á¤Î systematic review of large µ¬ÌÏ ½Ï¹Í¤¹¤ë¡¿¹Íθ¤¹¤ës by Oxford University linked eating red and ²áÄød meat to an Áý²Ã¤¹¤ëd ´í¸± of heart ɵ¤.
While it is true that many indigenous populatio ns living ÅÁÅýŪ¤Ê lifestyles have lower cholesterol than other people, ¡Æthat is more about general lifestyle and their Á´ÂΤˤ錄¤ë dietary pattern,¡Ç says Dr Mellor, pointing out that humans have very ÊѲ½¤µ¤»¤ëd diets and levels of physical activity around the world.
As for our ancestors, ¡Æthey only lived to about 30,¡Ç he says. ¡ÆSo they didn¡Çt really live to the ĺÅÀ¡Ê¤Ë㤹¤ë¡Ë time for heart attacks. Other things killed people before they got to that age.¡Ç
The ´Î¡ King says he typically eats six to eight raw eggs after a workout, and often films himself eating the eggs whole, ´Þ¤àing the Çú·â¤¹¤ës
The ´Î¡ King says he typically eats six to eight raw eggs after a workout, and often films himself eating the eggs whole, ´Þ¤àing the Çú·â¤¹¤ës.
Eggshell is mostly made of calcium ºÕ¤¯ and is used as a natural calcium Êä¡ʤ¹¤ë¡Ë to support bone health, often for dogs and cats. A ºÇ¶á¤Î ½Ï¹Í¤¹¤ë¡¿¹Íθ¤¹¤ë ¼¨º¶¤¹¤ëd that chicken eggshell ºÕ¤¯ has the ²ÄǽÀ¤Î¤¢¤ë to ¸º¤º¤ë the ´í¸± of osteoporosis in the ǯÇÚ¤Î.
And we can digest egg Çú·â¤¹¤ë, should we so wish. However, the ³°Éô¤Î surface of raw eggs may become ±øÀ÷¤¹¤ëd with salmonella, either during the laying ²áÄø or through ±øÀ÷ with bird faeces. In the UK, the British Lion ¼¨¤¹ on eggs means that they have been laid by ½÷¡¿¤ª¤Ã¤»¤«¤¤²°s vaccinated against salmonella. This ¸º¤º¤ës the ´í¸±, but doesn¡Çt ½üµî¤¹¤ë it ´°Á´¤Ë.
There are also ´Ø¿´s that ¾ÃÈñ¤¹¤ëing raw eggs on a Àµµ¬¤Î¡¿ÀµÁª¼ê basis over a long period of time can ¸¶°ø¡Ê¤È¤Ê¤ë¡Ë biotin ·ç´Ù¡¿ÉÔÂ, which is characterised by alopecia, dermatitis, hear and ¸«Ä̤· problems and developmental ±ä´ü¤¹¤ë in children.
This is because the antimicrobial protein avidin that is ¸½ºß¤Î in raw eggs tightly Ãù¢½êd biotin, also known as ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó B7, and ˸¤²¤ës it from ¸ºß µÛ¼ý¤¹¤ëd by humans.
¡ÆAn egg white is trying to »ý¤Ä¡¿¹´Î±¤¹¤ë on to its nutrients so it goes to the developing chicken,¡Ç says Dr Mellor. Avidin ¸ú²ÌŪ¤Ë stops ¥Ó¥¿¥ß¥ó B7 becoming ÍøÍѤǤ¤ë to the person eating it, he says. ¡ÆBut because avidin is a protein, it breaks É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë when you cook it.¡Ç
Eating fresh food like eggs is a good idea, says Ms Thornton-»Ù»ý¤òÆÀ¤è¤¦¤ÈÅؤá¤ëd, but as part of a balanced diet. ¡ÆA good diet should ´Þ¤à vegetables, carbohydrates and protein ? a mix of everything.¡Ç
The ´Î¡ King ·ø¸Ç¤Ë recommends dropping ²áÄød foods on his website: ¡Æ¹Â¤Ø¤Ï¤Þ¤é¤»¤ë¡¿ÉÔ»þÃ夹¤ë the ²áÄød ÆÇ¡ÊÌô¡Ë. Get on the ´Î¡ train and »ÙÇÛ¤¹¤ë life!'
The ´Î¡ King ·ø¸Ç¤Ë recommends dropping ²áÄød foods on his website: ¡Æ¹Â¤Ø¤Ï¤Þ¤é¤»¤ë¡¿ÉÔ»þÃ夹¤ë the ²áÄød ÆÇ¡ÊÌô¡Ë. Get on the ´Î¡ train and »ÙÇÛ¤¹¤ë life!¡Ç
Instead of fizzy drinks, in one ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª, he collects a cup of ·ì streaming out of a dying animal ¡Æstraight from the tap¡Ç and drinks it.
In another, he creates a ¡Ænutrient dense protein shake¡Ç by blending raw ´Î¡, ¿Õ¡, testicle, bone ¹ü¿ñ, heart, fresh cream and almost half a ÉÓ¡¿Éõ¤¸¹þ¤á¤ë of maple syrup.
Like the ´Î¡ King, many dieticians are ´Ø¿´d about diets that are very high in ultra-²áÄød foods (UPF) and low in unprocessed, fresh foods which ¸¦µæ links to a higher ´í¸± of ´â, type 2 ÅüÇ¢ÉÂ, heart ɵ¤ and even poor mental health.
However the ´Î¡ King¡Çs diet doesn¡Çt ´Þ¤à vegetables or carbohydrates.
¡ÆOur ances tors ate many different Æù¿Æ¡¤¿ÆÎàd of diets,¡Ç says Professor Ulijaszek. ¡ÆTo Áª¤Ö on a ÆÃ¤Ë high meat intake diet from one particular period in our evolutionary history is misrepresenting the past.
¡ÆWe have ȯŸ¤µ¤»¤ëd to eat a ¿ÍÍÀ© of foods ? many different things ? and we should rejoice in that ²ÄǽÀ, while always remembering that some foods are healthier than others.¡Ç
