Queen Camilla sweetly met young children of 兵士s as she visited The 王室の Lancers in North Yorkshire for the first time since 存在 任命するd as their 陸軍大佐-in-長，指導者.

?Captain Al Aldridge, whose mother Fiona Clare designed the Queen's dress she wore today, said Camilla's speech was "hugely poignant".
He said: "She 言及／関連d her father and I think that shows that her 関係 to the 連隊 is that much stronger. It solidifies us as 存在 a family 連隊."
Captain Aldrige went on to say he was "incredibly proud" of his mother for designing her dress and explained that the buttons on her dress are regimental buttons and the scarlet 麻薬を吸うing was a nod to the 連隊's colours.

She chatted with the guests before visiting the 令状 Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess where she 現在のd five Buchan メダルs to serving and retired Lancers.
The honour is awarded to any serving or retired member of The 王室の Lancers or its antecedents who have 与える／捧げるd in some 目だつ manner to the efficiency or 軍の honour of the 連隊 over a 長引いた period.
Camilla then 長，率いるd to the Officers’ Mess where she met 命令（する）ing Officer Major Phil Watson, the author of Their Greatest Hour, a 調書をとる／予約する which recounts the story of 21 days during which the 12th Lancers guarded the 退却／保養地 of the British Expeditionary 軍隊’s 撤退 to Dunkirk in 1940.
The Queen’s father, who was then a subaltern in A 騎兵大隊, won a 軍の Cross for gallantry during the 戦う／戦い.
He then showed Camilla, who wrote the foreword to the 調書をとる／予約する, her late father’s tunic for the first time.
