Buy-to-let 投資家s are 耐えるing mixed fortunes at the moment.?

We spoke to the letting スパイ/執行官s in some of the UK’s 栄えるing buy-to-let markets to find out why they are hot 投資 位置/汚点/見つけ出すs ― and those in markets struggling to compete.

And the 普通の/平均(する) home is now valued at £401,120, making it more 高くつく/犠牲の大きい for landlords to 生成する an income.

The city’s 人気, says Ben Chapman, lettings partner at Romans Lettings, is 負かす/撃墜する to its now commutable distance from London and Birmingham.?

Manchester and London still strong

Manchester’s strengths, says Baljit Arora, managing director of 機関 Orlando Reid, 嘘(をつく) in its affordable homes and growing 全住民 of young professionals wanting to rent.

Coventry is one of the most-改善するd cities and most 約束ing 場所s for buy-to-let landlords, Aldermore says.?

G lasgow has the second-best 賃貸しの 産する/生じる of the UK cities, at 8.6 pc. But it 階級s far higher than 船体 when other 重要な 指示する人(物)s are 含むd ― and is in eighth.?

That’s because landlords can 推定する/予想する 賃貸しの income of £14,700 on the 普通の/平均(する) 所有物/資産/財産, which costs £170,914. 年次の house price growth sits at a healthier 5.3 per cent, より勝るing the 普通の/平均(する) and there are few 空いている 所有物/資産/財産s. Its only 証拠不十分 is that just 19 per cent rent 個人として.

Low 産する/生じるs lead to Oxford blues

After just 行方不明の out on tenth position in 2022, Oxford slid 17 places to 階級 28th.

...And the worst places to 投資する?

Welsh cities Newport and Swansea are 階級d 49th and 50th for the third year. They attract low rents of £292 and £316 a month それぞれ.?
