Another woman, 43, from London, thought she was dating a jet-setting DJ and was?shocked to receive a letter from in 刑務所,拘置所 and £1,000 法案 for a gym 会員の地位.

The women also told 類似の stories of love and betrayal - how the handsome, smartly-dressed fraudster would start up 関係s with them, (人命などを)奪う,主張するing to have a glamorous 職業 as a 操縦する, barrister or jet-setting DJ.?

She said: 'When we matched online, he told me that he was an up-and-coming singer in a 禁止(する)d called General Direction.

'He took me out for dinners and pretty soon we were dating.

'He was very 十分な on and would always want to come over, but at the end of the day it was fun at the time.'

'Sorry he's nothing to do with us, we have 発表するd this a million times and 報告(する)/憶測d him God knows how many times.'

She explained that things started to get weird around a month into their 関係.

'I walked into my flat and he was standing there, talking on the phone to his bank,' she said.?

'He wouldn't give it 支援する. This is the point when I was getting really 関心d. I knew what he was up to and called the police すぐに,' she said.?

'The police told me to keep dating him and to try and gather (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) on him myself.

But in April 2022, the dynamic of their 関係 slowly started to change. Then the web of lies surrounding money started.

McNamara first 接触するd Danielle (人命などを)奪う,主張するing to be in 'a bit of a 状況/情勢', that he had been mugged and 猛烈に needed cash to get the train home.

What started with £20 here and £30 there soon snowballed - and within the space of a month Christian 借りがあるd Danielle more than £3,200.

She said: 'I 設立する lots of 証拠 against him myself and I was ready to give it all to the police… but I was fobbed off.

'I had two police officers come around to my house when my children were there and say this isn't 詐欺. But I knew 正確に/まさに what it was.

'The most infuriating thing about this whole 状況/情勢 is that if the police had listened to me then 非,不,無 of this would have happened - those women who did manage to bring 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s would never have lost all that money.'

A 広報担当者 for West Midlands Police said: 'We were 接触するd by a woman in August of 2022 who had been the 犠牲者 of a 詐欺 by a man she had met on a dating website.

The pair met on Bumble at the beginning of last September with McNamara (人命などを)奪う,主張するing he was a world-wide DJ 現在/一般に based in Ibiza.

Not long after, he said he would jet over from the Spanish island to 会合,会う her, and the couple’s whirlwind romance began.

Claire said: ‘Our 雑談(する)s on Bumble quickly move d over to WhatsApp and before I knew it, he was 説 that he couldn’t wait to see me.

She said: 'He kept 説 he 手配中の,お尋ね者 me to be financially 安全な・保証する. At the end of the day I opened him up to my world and I really 信用d him.'?

But suddenly McNamara went 静かな.

For a few days, Claire heard nothing but then she received a letter. A letter from HMP Altcourse in Liverpool 時代遅れの September 30.

It read: ‘Sorry I just disappeared ? it wasn’t by choice. It appears I have a few 優れた 法案s totalling £296,000.

‘On Thursday night (September 28) I had a rude awakening by police 説 there was a 令状 out for my 逮捕(する).’

It continued: ‘Nothing has changed in my mind about you and I have 行方不明になるd you and your touch in the last 72 hours.

‘I have been みなすd a flight 危険 to the police based on my comings and goings out of the UK and for that 推論する/理由 I have been 再拘留(者)d in 保護/拘留 until the 事柄 is 解決するd.’

McNamara had just bought Claire an expensive 会員の地位 at a wellness club in London and she was suddenly left with a £1,000 法案.

But around the same time, the conman also began stealing from the カトリック教徒 church where he was taken by Mrs O'Sullivan.

The 'horrified' pensioner only discovered what was happening at her beloved church in Binley, Coventry, when the priest (機の)カム around to tell her that McNamara, one of the altar boys at the church, had been caught helping himself to the contents of the collection box.

A 親族 said: 'He was taken to the police 駅/配置する by his uncle who asked officers to put the 恐れる of God in to him. They chucked him in a 独房 for a few hours in the hope it would teach him a lesson and Cieran spent that time crying his 注目する,もくろむs out 明らかに. He was only 14 or so at the time.
