The Duke of?Sussex?is thought to be working with his PR ½õ¸À¼Ôs at Archewell to do all he can to manage photographs and ¥Ó¥Ç¥ªs from his public ³°¸«s - with any À¸»º¡Ê¹â¡Ë ¸ºß edited by Archewell or event organisers before ¸ºß ²òÊü¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ëd.

This week, Harry was not on the ²òÊü¤¹¤ë¡¿¼«Í³¤Ê livestream of a BetterUp event in San Francisco - meaning an in-person ticket costing more than ¡ò1,200 was the only way to see him.

Harry had °ÊÁ° been advertised as a ¡Ê½°µÄ±¡¤Î¡ËµÄĹ for the Uplift ²ñµÄ¡¿¶¨µÄ²ñ, but not the ÌÀ³Î¤Ê¡¿ºÙÉô event - and so the only way of seeing him was to be ¸½ºß¤Î at the event.

On the same day, the Duchess ³«»Ï¤¹¤ë¡¤ÂǤÁ¾å¤²¤ëd her new ¾¦Çä¡¿»Å»ö Å굡¡¦ÅÒ¤±¤ë American Riviera Orchard with an Instagram teaser. A vintage-style ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª of her cooking and arranging white hydrangeas and roses was ÃÏ°Ì¡¤Ç¤Ì¿¤¹¤ëd to the brand's new account.

It comes as the Sussexes continue to ¾ÇÅÀ¡Ê¤ò¹ç¤ï¤»¤ë¡Ë on monetising content after their ¡ò15million Spotify ¼è°ú¡¤¶¨Äê was axed last June after just one °ìÏ¢¤Î Meghan Markle's podcast Archetypes.

ÀìÌç²Ès today told how the Sussexes are doing whatever can to manage photos and ¥Ó¥Ç¥ªs from public ³°¸«s to Èò¤±¤ë ¾Ã¶ËŪ¤Ê PR.

Former BBC TV ²¦¼¼¤Î ÆÃÇÉ°÷ Michael Cole analysed the Duke's ¾õ¶·¡¿¾ðÀª, telling MailOnline that it is '¡Êµ¿¤¤¤ò¡ËÀ²¤é¤¹ that Prince Harry is now ¸ºß 'produced'.'

He said: 'The Âç¿¿ô of his 'public ³°¸«s' are not public ³°¸«s at all but carefully choreographed ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª recordings played into events where his »Ø̾¤¹¤ë on the ¾·ÂÔ has been the main attraction.

'There may be more than one ¿äÏÀ¤¹¤ë¡¿Íýͳ the Prince is distancing himself from 'live' events but one is certainly an ¶ìǺ on his and his wife's part that he could be ľÌ̤¹¤ëd by people he does not wish to see and questions he would rather not ±éÀâ¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿½»½ê. 'In Britain, the ¿Íµ¤ of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has dwindled ®¤¯ since they chose to go into self-²Ý¤¹d ÄÉÊü¤¹¤ë, in Canada ºÇ½é, then California.

'But even in America, where they were at first very popular, their À§Ç§ ratings have been dropping as ®¤¯ as the ²¹ÅÙ·× in Ãæ±û¤Î-winter.'

He also pointed out the 'very real ²ÄǽÀ of a ¥Þ¥¹¥³¥ß 'gotcha' - someone with a microphone asking a ĩȯŪ¤Ê question or throwing an Éî¿« ¡¼¤¹¤ë¤¿¤á¤Ë get a reaction from the Prince that would ³ÍÆÀ¤¹¤ë milli ons of social ¥Þ¥¹¥³¥ß ¹¶·â¤¹¤ë¡¤¾×Æͤ¹¤ës À¤³¦Åª¤Ê.'

Mr Cole continued: 'It is obvious that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are °æ¸Í¡¿ÊÛ¸î»ÎÀÊ aware of the ÉÔ»¿À®, Ũ°Õ and contempt they have incurred ¤ÎÃæ¤Ç many people by their words and ³èÆ°¡¿ÀïÆ®s since they left Britain and they ÌÀ³Î¤Ë do not wish take any ´í¸±s of a Âзè they cannot »ÙÇۡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÅýÀ©¤¹¤ë - let alone stop.

'It is all É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë to '»ÙÇۡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÅýÀ©¤¹¤ë'. With her Hollywood background, Meghan Markle is ·èÄꤹ¤ëd to 'curate' the way in which the world sees her and her husband. 'Live' events cannot be ´°Á´¤Ë controlled.

ANALYSIS BY MICHAEL COLE: Prince Harry is playing a game that can only have one ¾¡Íø¼Ô... and it won't be him

It's ¡Êµ¿¤¤¤ò¡ËÀ²¤é¤¹ that Prince Harry is now ¸ºß 'produced'. The Âç¿¿ô of his 'public ³°¸«s' are not public ³°¸«s at all but carefully choreographed ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª recordings played into events where his »Ø̾¤¹¤ë on the ¾·ÂÔ has been the main attraction.

There may be more than one ¿äÏÀ¤¹¤ë¡¿Íýͳ the Prince is distancing himself from 'live' events but one is certainly an ¶ìǺ on his and his wife's part that he could be ľÌ̤¹¤ëd by people he does not wish to see and questions he would rather not ±éÀâ¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿½»½ê. And would not know how to °·¤¦ either.

In Britain, the ¿Íµ¤ of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has dwindled ®¤¯ since they chose to go into self-²Ý¤¹d ÄÉÊü¤¹¤ë, in Canada ºÇ½é, then California. But even in America, where they were at first very popular, their À§Ç§ ratings have been dropping as ®¤¯ as the ²¹ÅÙ·× in Ãæ±û¤Î-winter.

And then there is the very real ²ÄǽÀ of a ¥Þ¥¹¥³¥ß 'Gotcha' -- someone with a microphone asking a ĩȯŪ¤Ê question or throwing an Éî¿« ¡¼¤¹¤ë¤¿¤á¤Ë get a reaction from the Prince that would ³ÍÆÀ¤¹¤ë millions of social ¥Þ¥¹¥³¥ß ¹¶·â¤¹¤ë¡¤¾×Æͤ¹¤ës À¤³¦Åª¤Ê.

It is obvious that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are °æ¸Í¡¿ÊÛ¸î»ÎÀÊ aware of the ÉÔ»¿À®, Ũ°Õ and contempt they have incurred ¤ÎÃæ¤Ç many people by their words and ³èÆ°¡¿ÀïÆ®s since they left Britain and they ÌÀ³Î¤Ë do not wish take any ´í¸±s of a Âзè they cannot »ÙÇۡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÅýÀ©¤¹¤ë - let alone stop.

It is all É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë to '»ÙÇۡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÅýÀ©¤¹¤ë'. With her Hollywood background, Meghan Markle is ·èÄꤹ¤ëd to 'curate' the way in which the world sees her and her husband. 'Live' events cannot be ´°Á´¤Ë controlled. But if you µÏ¿¡¤µÏ¿Åª¤Ê¡¿µÏ¿¤¹¤ë things, then the message and the image both come out in the way you would wish the world to hear and see.

That is what we are seeing here. Uber »ÙÇۡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÅýÀ©¤¹¤ë at work, with Meghan pulling the Prince 's strings, advising him what to do and how to do it, leaving nothing to chance, even if that means failing to show up at a live event.

But Prince Harry is playing a game that can only have one ¾¡Íø¼Ô - and it won't be him. He's Ëǰסʤ¹¤ë¡Ëing on his ²¦¼¼¤Î status for money and then failing to ÇÛ㤹¤ë. This will not only ¸º¤é¤¹ his personal ɾȽ, it will be disappointing people who have paid good money to see or hear him.

And that is a very bad idea.

You cannot play µÞ®¤Ê¡¿ÊüÆ¢¤Ê and loose with people's ´üÂÔs. Very soon he will find that the ˡΧ of ¸º¤é¤¹ing returns kicks in -- there will be ¤è¤ê¾®¿ô¤Î gigs and ¤¤¤Ã¤½¤¦¾¯¤Ê¤¯ profitable »Ùʧ¤¦¡¿Ä¶â-days. In short, people will quickly become bored with a ¹¶·â¤¹¤ë¡¤¾×Æͤ¹¤ë-or-¹ÔÊýÉÔÌÀ¤Ë¤Ê¤ë ²¦¼¼¤Î who shows up when he wishes -- but then ¤¤¤Ä¤«s doesn't show at all.

It has always been The Big No-No at Buckingham Palace: No Member of the ²¦¼¼¤Î Family Should °Î¶È¡¿ÍøÍѤ¹¤ë their Special Status for ¾¦¶È¤Î ÌÜŪs or µö¤¹ Others to Do So.

When it happens, it always ends in ÎÞ¡¿¤Û¤³¤í¤Ós. The Duchess of Edinburgh had to give up her PR ¾¦Çä¡¿»Å»ö in contentious circumstances when a newspaper sting ÌÀ¤é¤«¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿Ï³¤é¤¹d she was Ëǰסʤ¹¤ë¡Ëing on her marriage to the late Queen's third son, Prince Edward. Peter Phillip, the late Queen's first grandchild, was ¸·¤·¤¯ criticised for advertising milk on Chinese television. Prince Michael of Kent created disquiet by µö¤¹ing his »Ø̾¤¹¤ë to appear on the letter Ĺ¡¤Î¨¤¤¤ës of companies which were then ÌÀ¤é¤«¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿Ï³¤é¤¹d to be µ¿¤ï¤·¤¤ in one way or another.

Prince Harry's USP -- his Unique Selling Point -- is that he is the younger son of King Charles III and the late Diana, Princess of ¤à¤Á¤ÎÀ×s, and as such he is fifth in line to the British ²¦°Ì. Essentially, that is all he has to sell. He has become a good public ¡Ê½°µÄ±¡¤Î¡ËµÄĹ but he would not be getting those speaking gigs but for his ²¦¼¼¤Î status.

If it becomes ¡Êµ¿¤¤¤ò¡ËÀ²¤é¤¹ to people that he is a '²¦¼¼¤Î for ¸Û¤¦', he will ®¤¯ lose his lustre. It is often said that familiarity »º¤à¡¿»ô°é¤¹¤ës contempt. If he is not very careful about the things he chooses to do, and who he ºîÉÊ with, he runs the ´í¸± of ¸ºß associated with people and »ö¶È¡¿·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ës that ¾ÚÌÀ¤¹¤ë to be unworthy in one way or another.

Èó¡¤ÉÔ¡¤Ìµ of this would be happening if he were still a working member of the ²¦¼¼¤Î Family. He would have no need to earn his living on a daily basis and what he did and how he did it would have been decided in the general Íø±×¡¿¶½Ì£s of the ·¯¼ç¹ñ, the country and the British people. Now, he has a wife and family to support and a very expensive lifestyle.

°ÂÁ´ alone is dz¤ä¤¹ing through a lot of money; three ž´¹s a day of burly men to Êݸ¤ë the µÖ¤Îĺ¾å Camelot of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Montecito, north of Los Angeles, is ¶Ëü¤Ë expensive, 365 days a year.

But it would be a Êè¡¿¸·½Í¡¿Ä¦¤ë¡¿½ÅÂç¤Ê mistake for the Prince to spread himself too thin, Ä´°õ up to Â¥¿Ê¤¹¤ë or »²²Ã¤¹¤ë in »ö¶È¡¿·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ës that are not worthy of a Prince of the ²¦¼¼¤Î ·ì.

If he then doesn't turn up - or fails to come through on his Ì£Êý¤¹¤ë of the ¼è°ú¡¤¶¨Äê, as it would be seen in Hollywood -- he will find that the ¿½¤·¹þ¤à¡¿¿½¤·½Ðs will Ãæ»ß¤¹¤ë to come and his income stream will ®¤¯ ´¥Á礷¤¿¡¤Æü¾È¤ê¤Î up. And that would create real problems, not just for himself but for the ¹âÅÙ¤Ë ambitious Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, who has big ·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ës of her own.

²¦¼¼¤Î commentator Richard Fitzwilliams also spoke about the ¾õ¶·¡¿¾ðÀª ľÌ̤¹¤ëing the Duke.

He told MailOnline of Harry: 'His behaviour recently has certainly been unusual. The sad ÉÔÏ with his brother was deliberately ºÇ¹âĬ¤Î¾ìÌÌd at the Diana °ä»º¡¿°äʪ Awards and received ÊúÍʤ¹¤ë À¤³¦Åª¤Ê ¥Ë¥å¡¼¥¹ÊóÆ».

'He appeared ·Ðͳ¤Ç ¥Ó¥Ç¥ª link from California, but only after the µ·¼° ¡Ä¤Ë½ÐÀʤ¹¤ëd by William in Britain had finished.

'An event for BetterUp in San Francisco, where he appeared Ëܿͼ«¿È¤Ç, was carefully ¹Ô¤¦¡¿³«ºÅ¤¹¤ë¡¿Ãʳ¬ managed, though it was livestreamed online for ²òÊü¤¹¤ë¡¿¼«Í³¤Ê, Harry appeared in no ¥Ó¥Ç¥ªs and only those who paid $1,595 for a ticket would have ¸½¼Â¤Ë seen him.'

He Äɲ乤ëd that the Sussexes appear to have 'total »ÙÇۡʤ¹¤ë¡Ë¡¿ÅýÀ©¤¹¤ë' over their new Netflix shows ? with Meghan's 'ÌÀÇò¤Ë linked' to America Riveira Orchard

Mr Fitzwilliams continued: 'Harry, a keen polo player like many male ²¦¼¼¤Îs, ÊóÆ»¤Ë¤è¤ì¤Ð has a »ö¶È¡¿·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë about the game, though it is an ¥¨¥ê¡¼¥È sport and Íø±×¡¿¶½Ì£ in it may be ¸Â¤é¤ì¤¿¡¿Î©·ûŪ¤Ê. However these ¼¨¤¹ that their lucrative Netflix ·ÀÌó appears °ÂÁ´¤Ê, at least for now.'

He Äɲ乤ëd: 'The »Ø¼¨¡¤É½¼¨¤¹¤ëʪs are that Harry, famous in past years for his personal amiability and charm, is becoming more controlling and ¤¤¤Ã¤½¤¦¾¯¤Ê¤¯ ÍøÍѤǤ¤ë, whilst remaining obsessive on ÌäÂ꡿ȯ¹Ô¤¹¤ës linked to °ÂÁ´.'

Mr Fitzwilliams also asked: 'Whoever advises the Sussexes, ÆÃ¤Ë Harry? This is a pertinent question as he seemed wayward when Â¥¿Ê¤¹¤ëing his memoir Spare Áá´ü¤Ë last year.

'The ȯ³Ðs about losing his virginity, penile frostbite and taking ËãÌôs, which he ³ÈÂ礹¤ëd on in the interviews he gave to Â¥¿Ê¤¹¤ë the Ä´½ñ¤ò¤È¤ë¡¿Í½Ì󤹤ë, made him a laughing ºß¸Ë¡¿³ô.'

He said that while Spare was a bestseller, there 'have ÌÀ³Î¤Ë been ¶Ëü¤Ë serious lessons to be learnt from some of his ȯ³Ðs in it'.

On Wednesday at the ¼óǾ²ñµÄ hosted by life coaching ²ñ¼Ò¡¿·ø¤¤ BetterUp ? for which Harry ºîÉÊ as 'Ĺ¡¤»ØƳ¼Ô ¾×·â officer' ? the Duke also met with The Office actress Mindy Kaling.

Fans only ÀßΩ¤¹¤ë out about Harry's ³«²ñ¡¿³«Äî¡¿²ñ´ü after a ÃÏ°Ì¡¤Ç¤Ì¿¤¹¤ë on Wednesday night by his website Sussex.com.

The Duke spoke during a 'Beyond Burnout' ³«²ñ¡¿³«Äî¡¿²ñ´ü, where he was joined by Dr Adam ǧ¤á¤ë, BetterUp's chairman of the 'Ãæ¿´ for ÌÜŪ and ¶ÈÀÓ¡¿À®²Ì', and Kelly Jones, 'Ĺ¡¤»ØƳ¼Ô people officer' at ²Ê³Ø¡Ê¹©³Ø¡Ëµ»½Ñ ²ñ¼Ò¡¿·ø¤¤ Cisco.

Fans have since ÌÀ¤é¤«¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿Ï³¤é¤¹d their ¼ºË¾ at Harry not appearing on the livestream.

One tweeted yesterday: 'Why did they not livestream Harry yesterday? This does not look good on BetterUp.

He told US ¾¦Çä¡¿»Å»ö magazine Forbes that the couple are '¹Âç¤Ê¡¿Â¿¿ô¤Î¡¿½ÅÍ×¤Ê at getting attention'.

'The ʸ½ñ¤Î we did on them [Harry and Meghan] is still one of our most watched ʸ½ñ¤Îs of all time on and ÊúÍʤ¹¤ë, ÆÃ¤Ë in the UK, where people just devour everything about them,' he said.

'They are µÄÏÀ¤ÎŪ¤Ë¤Ê¤ë but that's usually a good thing.' He Äɲ乤ëd: You may love them or hate them, but you're watching.

'And I do think that they are also going to be very strong ʪ¸ì¤òÏ乿͡¿ºî²Ès, with ¹Âç¤Ê¡¿Â¿¿ô¤Î¡¿½ÅÍ×¤Ê ¡Ê´í¸±¤Ê¤É¤Ë¡Ë¤µ¤é¤¹ to ¥Þ¥¹¥³¥ß ¡¼¤Ë´Ø¤·¤Æ¡¿¡¼¤ÎÅÀ¤Çs of what people want to talk about, what they think about, and they're ¹Âç¤Ê¡¿Â¿¿ô¤Î¡¿½ÅÍ×¤Ê at getting attention.'
