ROBERT JOBSON: As Harry jets into the UK again, it would be sensible for King Charles NOT to 会合,会う his son… and this is why

A year on since his 載冠(式)/即位(式), The King is a man on a 使節団.

The 栄冠を与える is no longer in 移行, this is decidedly his 統治する - and King Charles wants to make his 示す.

This week sees His Majesty 支援する in 商売/仕事 に引き続いて a break from public 義務s for 治療, and in the wake of 最近の welcome news about his 進歩.

Today, for example, The King will 連合させる a 会合 with 総理大臣 Rishi Sunak with その上の 医療の 任命s.

Tomorrow, the King and Queen Camilla will host this year's first?Buckingham Palace Garden party. It is heartening to see His Majesty so active again.

The King and Prince Harry once shared a special bond, but now each meeting between them seems fraught with the weight of previous disappointments

The relationship between The King and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is overshadowed with tension and misunderstanding

The 関係 between The King and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is 影を投げかけるd with 緊張 and misunde rstanding?

Yet, まっただ中に all this activity, it looks as though there will be no time to 会合,会う his younger son, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

Harry is 予定 to be in London?ahead of Thursday's service at St Paul's Cathedral in honour of the Invictus Games, his 事業/計画(する) for 負傷させるd, 負傷させるd and sick former service 職員/兵員.

But I'm told that father and son will not see each other on this occasion - that there have been no requests for a 会合.

Both men are understandably busy.

The prince, who no longer has a house in the UK, will make his own 手はず/準備 for accommodation. He won't be staying at any of the 王室の 住居s and has made no request to do so.

Which means that yet another 適切な時期 for 仲直り has seemingly slipped away. And who, you might ask, can be surprised?

信用 between the King and his younger son has evaporated since Harry published his best-selling memoir, Spare, last year.

The two men once 株d a special 社債 but now each 会合 between them seems fraught with the 負わせる of previous 失望s.

It is a delicate dance, in which each step - and every mis-step ? is scrutinised in the glare of a watchful public 注目する,もくろむ.

Who could 非難する the King if he 見解(をとる)d such 遭遇(する)s as more of a 重荷(を負わせる) than a 救済?

Today, in the sprawling saga that is the 王室の Family's 最近の history, the 関係 between The King and the Duke of Sussex is 影を投げかけるd with 緊張 and 誤解.

We saw something of this earlier this year, when the news of Charles's 癌 diagnosis was made public.

No sooner had it been 発表するd than Harry took it upon himself to take a ten-hour flight from his home in California to visit his father in what many saw as a 井戸/弁護士席-meaning gesture.

にもかかわらず the 重要な 成果/努力 伴う/関わるd, however, the 結局の 会合 between the two was ぎこちない to say the least and lasted a 事柄 of mere minutes.

Harry was not 招待するd to stay at Clarence House, the King's main London home, that night, or at any other 王室の 住居. 一方/合間, his father almost すぐに 長,率いるd off to Sandringha m in Norfolk for some 残り/休憩(する) and 回復する.

Sad though this might seem, the brevity was all too 理解できる given the patterns of previous behaviour.

Yet nothing changes this 重要な fact: His Majesty's love for his youngest son is 耐えるing.

にもかかわらず chasms of miscommunication and the repercussions of a very public fallout, the family 社債 - at its 核心 - remains 無傷の.

The 悲劇 of the 状況/情勢 lies not in malice but in a 一連の unfortunate 誤解s and 外部の 圧力s that have calcified into an almost insurmountable 障壁.

It is also true that, with his 井戸/弁護士席-文書d impulsivity and naivety, Harry might not always しっかり掴む the 十分な 関わりあい/含蓄s of his 活動/戦闘s.

His 願望(する) for transparency and change, while noble, can いつかs 衝突する/食い違う with the 伝統的な 期待s and 義務s of 王室の life.

His 活動/戦闘s 示唆する a man 猛烈に 捜し出すing a foothold ? yet failing.

Harry's naivety can be dangerous, and not just for him but for all parties 伴う/関わるd as it 燃料s the 解雇する/砲火/射撃s of 憶測.

That's why, if King Charles does choose to forego a 会合 at this 極度の慎重さを要する time, the 決定/判定勝ち(する) will not be a fresh 行為/法令/行動する of 拒絶 or 解雇/(訴訟の)却下 but rooted in a painful history.

And we should have the compassion to see it as such.

Why shouldn't the King take a sensible 保護の 手段 that would guard both against その上の emotional 緊張する and the rigorous 需要・要求するs of managing his health?

最終的に, the hope for 仲直り remains alive, albeit tempered by realism.

The path to 傷をいやす/和解させるing is labyrinthine and fraught with 可能性のある 後退s. But it is not yet の近くにd.

We should hope for understanding and peace between a father and his son, against the 背景 of their very public 役割s and 私的な 苦痛s.

Whether they 会合,会う or not in the next few days ? and if they do, it is likely to be last-minute and (n)艦隊/(a)素早いing - their 窮地 is a poignant 思い出の品 of the human emotions at work behind the grand facade of 王族.
