‘I keep forgetting we’re on a 計画(する),’ my husband, Dan, says as we settle into our gigantic 王位s.

Around us, 乗客s are sipping on the finest シャンペン酒, perusing a menu that consists of plates of poached 大西洋 lobster with smoked salmon and 取調べ/厳しく尋問するd Angus beef fillet, and 開始 their red 略章-wrapped Diptyque gifts, which have been left on our marble (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs.

We’re on board a Qatar A350-1000, 飛行機で行くing in ridiculously luxurious style from London Heathrow 終点 4 to Doha, Qatar.

We’re here to 実験(する) out the 航空機による’s Qsuite - 商売/仕事-class seats with doors that 変える into a 二塁打 bed when travelling as a couple.

I’d heard so much about the Qsuite since it 開始する,打ち上げるd in 2017, with 専門家s in the 産業 繰り返して referring to it as the very best in the 商売/仕事-class world. ‘Better than some first-class cabins,’ one said. So I had 抱擁する 期待s.

Our Qsuite experience begins at 終点 4, where we’re 認めるd 接近 to a swanky 私的な 商売/仕事-class check-in area before we 長,率いる to Qatar’s expansive lounge for some quick pre-dinner drinks and 軽食s.

An hour later, and we’re 搭乗. Within seconds of stepping の上に the 航空機, we’re 現在のd with hot towels to freshen up and deliciously golden glasses of Duval-Leroy シャンペン酒, which we devour in minutes before giddily getting 熟知させるd with our seats while our jackets are hung up.

The Qsuite cabin, in the 航空機による’s 署名 burgundy and grey トンs, is arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, with our seats, 5E and 5F, in the middle, 直面するing backwards.

Our seats are big. Really big, with a width of 21.5 インチs and legroom pitch of 79 インチs, and mountains of space both above, below, and either 味方する of my 5ft 7in でっちあげる,人を罪に陥れる. We could easily squeeze a couple of children or another adult in. But that would be silly. And not what the Qsuite is all about. It’s about total 高級な, with acres of space and everything you need within arm’s reach.

I find a pocket to my 権利 with a 瓶/封じ込める of water and noise-cancelling Oryx One headphones, 同様に as space for me to place my laptop and small 捕らえる、獲得する.

To the 権利 of my gigantic 20.5-インチ 審査する is a marble grey (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する where my amenity 道具 by Diptique, the high-end brand I always have to stop myself buying £100 candles from, is waiting to be unwrapped. Inside, I find a 団体/死体 cream, lip balm, and a glass tube of perfume that 小売s at £95 a 瓶/封じ込める, along with socks and an 注目する,もくろむ mask. The large TV remote sits under the marble (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する, along with USB points and a shelf where I place my glasses.

The other Qsuites in the cabin are taken up by a mother and her daughter who seem delighted to be dining, sleeping and 飛行機で行くing in style next to one another and businessmen who use the time to 雑談(する), 井戸/弁護士席, 商売/仕事.

My first impressions of the Qsuite? Its enviable 評判 is 完全に deserved. But the thing that stands out for me is the cabin 乗組員. They’re as good and knowledgeable as those you’ll find in 最高の,を越す restaurants and have that effortless ability to switch between friendly and formal, depending on the 必要物/必要条件s of the 乗客 they’re serving.

My stewardess is Hiba, who I すぐに warm to. She has 有望な red lips and wears a wide smile throughout the flight. She starts by asking for our drink preferences once we’re in the 空気/公表する and goes through our dinner 選択s.

The a la carte menu is 広範囲にわたる and 申し込む/申し出s an ‘order when you like’ 概念. We 選ぶ for the three-course dinner in the sky at 7pm, three hours after take off.

Once we’re in the 空気/公表する, Hiba lowers the divider between our two seats, places a cushion to 軟化する the gap, and 現在のs my pre-ordered glass of Carmel Road Chardonnay.

On the dot, 正確に/まさに three hours in, Hiba adjusts my tray (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する, lays 負かす/撃墜する a white tablecloth, 殴打/砲列-operated flickering candle, three variations of a bread roll and asks which of the four different 選択s of olive oil I would like. I’ve had worse service at Michelin-starred restaurants.

As we cross over the Adriatic sea and の上に Turkey, I tuck into a starter mezze of hummus, moutable and muhammara followed by seared 大西洋 hal ibut with parsley barley risotto. The food is outstandingly delicious.

Guests, as we’re called, are 演説(する)/住所d as Mr and 行方不明になる/Mrs, and the question ‘Mrs Sime, would you like a 最高の,を越す-up?’, seems to always land at the perfect moment. And the answer ‘yes please’ follows every time.

The 抱擁する burgundy-coloured doors on either 味方する of our seats 許す for 完全にする privacy, while the seat numbers 二塁打 as Do Not 乱す 指示する人(物)s, turning red to let cabin 乗組員 know you’re after some shut-注目する,もくろむ.

After dinner, we decide to give the famous 嘘(をつく)-flat 二塁打 bed a go. I 長,率いる for the large bathroom - which, 異常に, has a window and 床に打ち倒す-to-天井 mirrors - to change into the White Company pyjamas and slippers I was 手渡すd before take off.

I return to find the cabin 乗組員 lowering our seats, before covering them with 厚い mattresses and topping with cushions, pillows and a duvet.

We snuggle up and drift off in minutes, waking hours later to find we’re about to land. The 6 hours and 20 minutes go by in a luxurious blur and I reluctantly leave the 計画(する) in Doha to connect to our Seychelles-bound flight.

I 定期的に 令状 about how the golden age of 飛行機で行くing is over. But is it? After this flight, I’m not so sure.

TRAVEL FACTS?

PROS: 抱擁する, comfy, very 私的な seats, excellent service, delicious food. This has to be the world’s best 商売/仕事-class seat.

CONS:?I tried hard to find anything that could be 改善するd on. And failed. The Qsuite is a marvel and one all 航空機によるs should try to replicate.

率ing out of five: *****?
