No いっそう少なく surprisingly, Scoop 誇るs a 最高の，を越す-質 cast. A jowly Rufus Sewell plays Andrew and, if you squint やめる a lot, you can just about believe it's him. Maitlis is portrayed by Gillian Anderson as stick-thin, brittle and imperious, which seems about 権利, marching through the BBC's offices with her pet whippet, 脅迫してさせるing everyone.
Keeley Hawes is Andrew's mumsy 私的な 長官, Amanda Thirsk. Romola Garai plays the 猛烈な／残忍な Newsnight editor Esme Wren. And brassy Sam McAlister, the programme's interview booker whose tenacity landed the prize catch, is played, splendidly, by Billie Piper.
The film begins in New York in 2010, when photographer Jae Donnelly (Connor Swindells) takes the now 悪名高い snap of Andrew and Epstein strolling through Central Park, in earnest conversation. Peter Moffat's script is at its most mischievous with its depiction of an emotionally-逮捕（する）d prince, obsessing about his teddy 耐えるs, and guffawing about the マスコミ 利益／興味 in his 取引 w ith Epstein, when 'I knew Jimmy Savile so much better'.

Like Netflix's The 栄冠を与える, director Philip ツバメ's film deftly mixes historical truths with 劇の licence. But fiction can't compete with fact. Scoop is never more electrifying than when it finally arrives at the only part of the story we already know intimately, the interview itself, with all its 驚くべき／特命の／臨時の minutiae about Pizza 表明する in Woking and Andrew's supposed 無（不）能 to sweat. It is very carefully and convincingly recreated.
After the 記録，記録的な／記録するing, Andrew is cock-a-hoop. He, and his 助言者s, all think it's gone exceedingly 井戸／弁護士席. But when Newsnight 空気／公表するs two days later he steps out of his bath to receive the 一斉射撃，（質問などの）連発／ダム of phone messages 確認するing the 絶対の opposite.
ツバメ shoots him from behind, flabby and 明らかにする-底（に届く）d as he silently 直面するs the 関わりあい／含蓄s of a 王室の life imploding. The imagery could hardly be いっそう少なく subtle but is all the more powerful for it: here he stands, in the （競技場の）トラック一周 of 特権, 完全に exposed and 完全に alone.
