Four in ten mortgages are 存在 taken out by borrowers who will still be 返すing the 貸付金s past their 退職 age, Bank of England 人物/姿/数字s show.

Mr Webb, This is Money's 退職 columnist and now a partner at 年金s 顧問s LCP, said: 'In the past you might have assumed that a 貸す人 would want a mortgage paid off by the time someone had stopped 収入 and reached 年金 age.
'If it becomes the norm that a 重要な 割合 of mortgages are planned to run on into 退職 ? and that's before any その上の 拡張s during the lifetime to the mortgage ? this would be a 深遠な 転換.'
He said mortgage 貸す人s should be 'thinking very carefully about the 知恵 of 申し込む/申し出ing mortgages which will need to be paid even when someone is no longer a 行う earner'.

Mr Webb said: 'Although it can be very tempting to agree a long-称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 mortgage to make 返済s affordable, this can 蓄える/店 up serious problems for the 未来.
