公式の／役人s at the Bank of England are so 関心d about fraudsters using 人工的な 知能 科学（工学）技術 for scams in the UK that it hosted an 緊急の 首脳会議 for big banks and tech 会社／堅いs last week, Money Mail can 明らかにする／漏らす.

Tech 会社／堅いs were 警告するd scams will ‘get much more sophisticated’, but Britain ‘still has a window to shore up its defences’.

Banks are beginning to （軍隊を）展開する，配備する a host of AI-力／強力にするd chatbots to 戦闘 fraudsters in a 裁判，公判 led by Stop Scams UK, the cross-産業 group behind last Friday’s 首脳会議.
A group made up of banks, tech and telecom companies is 操縦するing a 事業／計画（する） to gather 知能 on scammers.
An 概算の 300 phone numbers and 100 email 演説（する）／住所s will be operated by members of the Stop Scams UK group, which 含むs Britain’ s biggest High Street and 挑戦者 banks; telecoms BT, TalkTalk and Three; and tech companies Meta and Google.
These numbers and accounts will be 割り当てるd ‘chatbots’ ― computer programmes that ふりをする human conversation. They are often used for 顧客 service queries as they can answer questions with 広大な／多数の／重要な 正確.
Because they can mimic human messages, 犯罪のs have been known to use chatbots to manipulate 犠牲者s and impersonate 信用d 当局 or companies.
The chatbots can send messages on social マスコミ 壇・綱領・公約s that appear 本物の and trick 犠牲者s into 手渡すing over money or personal 詳細（に述べる）s by pretending to be someone they know and 信用.
Paul Davis, director of 詐欺 予防 at TSB, says these chatbots 許す 犯罪のs to 規模 up their 操作／手術s, with large numbers of bots messaging 多重の 犠牲者s 同時に.
However, the banks’ chatbots will be pitted against them in the 裁判，公判. ‘There’s an 適切な時期 to 延期する chatbots ーするために 混乱に陥れる／中断させる 犯罪のs,’ Mr Davis says.
‘We might 結局最後にはーなる with two AI chatbots talking to each other ― one controlled by the banks, the other by 犯罪のs. They can waste each other’s time.

One of the fastest-growing techniques 雇うd by fraudsters is to use cheap online ソフトウェア to clone a 発言する／表明する.?
By doing this they can impersonate a loved one or family friend and 誘惑する unsuspecting 犠牲者s into 手渡すing over their money.?
For example, 犯罪のs may make a phone call using a cloned 発言する／表明する to make it sound as if a loved one is in trouble and needs 財政上の help.
All you need is three seconds from a 発言する／表明する 記録，記録的な／記録するing or ビデオ to replicate someone’s 発言する／表明する, によれば 研究 by ant-ウイルス 会社／堅い McAfee.

Anyone can clone a 発言する／表明する and can dictate the text that they want the 発言する／表明する to say in an 音声部の clip. Money Mail took this to the 実験（する） on Play.Ht, an AI-発言する／表明する generative start-up, using its 5,000-words-a-month 解放する／自由な 裁判，公判.
The website 許すs you either to clone someone’s 発言する／表明する using a 30-second 音声部の clip or to use an 存在するing AI 発言する／表明する. The 範囲 of 発言する／表明するs are AI 生成するd, but are 現実主義の and can be 始める，決める to speak almost every language in the world.
Once you have uploaded an 音声部の clip, you 令状 in a text box the words you want the cloned 発言する／表明する to say. After a short wait, you can play and download a n ew 音声部の clip of the 発言する／表明する 説 it.
The 科学（工学）技術 is becoming so 前進するd that you can 誘発する the 発言する／表明する’s emotions: for example, to sound happy, sad or worried.
In one high-profile 事例／患者 in the U.S. a mother became distraught when scammers used AI to 偽の her daughter’s 誘拐する.
The woman received a call from an unknown number but when she 選ぶd up, she believed it was her 15-year-old daughter, who was away training for a ski race. Fraudsters had used the ソフトウェア to 生成する a clip of the 十代の少年少女’s 発言する／表明する crying for help, before 需要・要求するing a $1million 身代金.
The scam has already made its way to the UK, によれば 研究 from McAfee.
Oliver Devane, a 安全 研究員 at McAfee, says: ‘In most of the 事例／患者s we’re 審理，公聴会 of, the scammer says they have been in a bad 事故, such as a car 衝突，墜落, and need money 緊急に.’

NatWest tells Money Mail that AI could be used in a number of ways to 的 顧客s and that it is ますます important that 消費者s stop and take a moment before making any 支払い（額）s that might appear unusual.
Liz Edwards, of com parison 場所／位置 Finder.com, says it is 決定的な to concentrate on what is 存在 said whenever you watch a ビデオ or receive a phone call.
Ms Edwards says: ‘Although these ビデオs look 現実主義の, a lot of the content will have been written by AI 科学（工学）技術, so listen carefully and try to decipher whether it really sounds like something a human would say.’
