A spring clean to your 財政/金融s is on its way, whether you like it or not.?

April 先触れ(する)s a deluge of changes to 世帯 法案s ? some going up and some, thankfully, 落ちるing.?

Here are 20 changes coming up in the next few days ? and how you can use them to your advantage...?

1) 会議 税金

世帯s in England will see their 会議 税金 法案s rise by 5.1 per cent or £106 on 普通の/平均(する) from April. 法案s will 攻撃する,衝突する an 普通の/平均(する) of £2,171 for those in a typical 禁止(する)d D 部類.

法案s are rising by 7.7 per cent on 普通の/平均(する) for 禁止(する)d D homes in むちの跡s, to £2,024 on 普通の/平均(する). 会議 税金 法案s in Scotland are frozen for most 世帯s. Make sure you (人命などを)奪う,主張する 割引s if you are 適格の, for example for 選び出す/独身 occupancy, or for those on low incomes. Students and 見習い工s are 免除された.

2) Broadband and 動きやすい 契約s

Providers 含むing Virgin マスコミ, BT, Plusnet, EE, Vodafone and Three 動きやすい are 増加するing their 動きやすい and broadband 法案s. Your 法案 will rise even if you are locked into a 直す/買収する,八百長をするd-称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 契約.

Shop around to get the best 取引,協定. However, you may not be able to 取り消す if you are 中央の-契約, so put a 公式文書,認める in your diary to do it the moment your 現在の one ends.

3) TV licence

This is rising from £159 to £169.50 a year from 1 April.

4) Water 法案s

These are 始める,決める to 増加する by 6 per cent in England and むちの跡s, up £27 to £473, によれば 貿易(する) 団体/死体 Water UK. 法案s in Scotland will rise by 8.8 per cent or £36. You may be able to 削減(する) 法案s by 任命する/導入するing a water メーター, which 許すs you to 支払う/賃金 for only what you use. Be aware if you use more water than 普通の/平均(する) you may 支払う/賃金 more.

5) パスポートs

The cost of a new 基準 パスポート is rising on 11 April by £6 to £88.50 for applicants 老年の 16 and over. If yours is 満了する/死ぬing soon, you could 適用する for a new one now to 避ける the higher 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金.

6) Train fares

The cost of season tickets on most 通勤(学)者 旅行s and some off-頂点(に達する) return tickets on long-distance 旅行s rose by 4.9 per cent on 3 March in England and むちの跡s.

On 1 April, more rises are hitting 通勤(学)者s in Scotland. All ScotRail fares will 増加する by 8.7 per cent.

7) 資本/首都 伸び(る)s 税金

Your 資本/首都 伸び(る)s allowance is 存在 削除するd on 6 April, from £6,000 to £3,000. It dropped from £12,300 this time last year.?

資本/首都 伸び(る)s 税金 is paid if you make a 利益(をあげる) when selling an 資産, 含むing 所有物/資産/財産 that isn't your main home. Use your 税金-解放する/自由な allowances such as 年金s and Isas to 避難所 your returns from 資本/首都 伸び(る)s and (株主への)配当 税金.

8) (株主への)配当 税金

The (株主への)配当 税金 allowance is 存在 削減(する) from £1,000 to £500 from 6 April, which means more than 1.1 million more people could 結局最後にはーなる 支払う/賃金ing it.

9) Road 税金

This rises by around £10 a year from 1 April? to £190 a year on 普通の/平均(する) for cars 登録(する)d since April 2017. Drivers of older cars may see bigger rises.

10) Flight 税金

義務 on 基準 tickets for 国内の flights is rising by £1 from 1 April, from £13 to £14, while the 基準 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s on 中央の-distance flights to New York or Dubai, for example, will 増加する by £3.

11) Dental 法案s

Dental 治療s on the NHS in England 増加する by 4 per cent from 1 April. That means a check up will cost £26.80 ? a rise of £1.

12) Energy 法案s

The cost of energy will 落ちる to a two -year low from a April under the regulator Ofgem's price cap changes. The 普通の/平均(する) 世帯's energy 法案 will 減少(する) by £238 a year to £1,690 a year. Send in your メーター reading this week to 確実にする you are not 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金d at the old, higher 率.

13) 国家の 保険

14) 税金 削減(する) for self-雇うd

Two million self-雇うd 労働者s will see their 国家の 保険 法案 落ちる from 8 to 6 per cent of their income. This is 価値(がある) £350 a year to a self-雇うd person 収入 the 普通の/平均(する) income of £28,200.

15) 最小限 行う

This is rising by more than £1 an hour to £11.44. For someone working 十分な-time this is the 同等(の) of a 支払う/賃金 上げる of £1,856 a year.

16) Isas

Everyone gets a new 税金-解放する/自由な Isa 貯金 allowance of £20,000 from 6 April. You will also lose any of your allowance from this year that you have not already used.

17) 明言する/公表する 年金

Retirees 利益 from an 8.5 per cent 増加する to the 明言する/公表する 年金 to £11,502 a year. It is the 同等(の) of a rise from £203.85 to £221.20 a week for those with a 十分な, new 明言する/公表する 年金, and from £156.20 to £169.50 for those on the old.

18) Child 利益

The 収入s threshold at which families start to lose child 利益 支払い(額)s will 増加する from £50,000 to £60,000.?

Parents who earn up to £80,000 will receive the 利益, up from £60,000 until now. The 支払い(額)s are also rising, from £24 to £25.60 a week for the eldest or only child and from £15.90 to £16.95 for younger children.

19) 全世界の/万国共通の Credit

Allowances are rising for all claimants by 6.7 per cent next month. This will mean 選び出す/独身 people 老年の 25 and over will see theirs 増加する to £393.45 per month from £368.74.

20) Sick 支払う/賃金

Statutory sick 支払う/賃金 will 増加する from £109.40 to £116.75 on 6 April.

...and don't get caught by 税金 on 伸び(る)s?

投資家s are 存在 勧めるd to wise up to this week's 税金 changes, as more than two-thirds are unaware of 近づいている 削減(する)s to the 資本/首都 伸び(る)s 税金 (CGT) allowance, 研究 by The 王室の 造幣局 明らかにする/漏らすs.

The 税金 is 徴収するd on 利益(をあげる)s made from the sale of an 資産 outside of a 税金-解放する/自由な wrapper, such as a buy-to-let 所有物/資産/財産 or 在庫/株s and 株.

But from next week, the 量 of 利益(をあげる) you can make before 存在 stung by 税金 will be 削除するd in half. 現在/一般に, 投資家s have a 税金-解放する/自由な allowance of £6,000 ? but on 6 April it will 落ちる to £3,000.

Just 31 per cent of UK 投資家s know about the 削減(する) leaving the 大多数 open to 予期しない 税金 法案s.

You can 保護物,者 your nest egg from 税金s by 投資するing 経由で a 在庫/株s and 株 Individual 貯金 Account (Isa). Any 利益(をあげる)s made in an Isa are not liable for CGT. Up to £20,000 can be deposited into these 税金-efficient wrappers every 財政上の year.

投資するing in bullion coins is another 選択 to 保護する 投資 伸び(る)s as these are 免除された from CGT, says 王室の 造幣局. 投資家s can make 制限のない 税金-解放する/自由な 利益(をあげる)s from bullion gold, silver and platinum coins. However, they should only (不足などを)補う a small 割合 of a 大臣の地位.
