I run a small 独立した・無所属 着せる/賦与するs shop, and like many small 商売/仕事s, I have struggled over the last few years.?

Once the pandemic was over, the cost of living 危機 攻撃する,衝突する, and I had to let go of some staff to make ends 会合,会う.

However the biggest challenge I've 直面するd has been the introduction of a low traffic neighbourhood in the area where my shop is.?

From this, it would seem that the idea to introduce them didn't come from our 政府, which begs the question of who decided that we should all have them.?

However, the 政府 has recognised the problems people are having with them and are speaking out in favour of 運転者s.

These 計画/陰謀s are 存在 器具/実施するd to 改善する our 環境, which few could argue with in 原則.?

Still, many believe that their real 目的, as with ULEZ zones and 20mph 限界s, is to 抽出する as much 歳入 from 運転者s as possible and 限界s 乗り物 movement.?

I recently heard from a nurse caring for the 年輩の, and she asked how she's supposed to get from (弁護士の)依頼人 to (弁護士の)依頼人 with all her 器具/備品 without 存在 able to 運動 across town.

What are LTNs??

Its 目的(とする) is to 減少(する) car use and encourage walking and cycling, 同様に as 改善する 空気/公表する 質.?

They have drawn 批評 from 運転者s who say they have placed an 不公平な 重荷(を負わせる) on 地元のs.??

I do think town and city centre 汚染 is a problem, though.

Particulate 汚染 is known to be harmful to your health and can make the most 汚染するd areas unpleasant.?

We were all encouraged some years ago to get rid of our 石油 cars and switch to ディーゼル, which was touted as a greener 代案/選択肢, when in fact, ディーゼル 乗り物s are the main 犯人 of poor 空気/公表する 質 in our towns and cities.

However, I do think there are some places, incredibly historic and picturesque villages and towns, where pedestrianisation can 意味ありげに 改善する and help 地元の 商売/仕事s, where 激しい goods 乗り物s 雷鳴ing 負かす/撃墜する 狭くする high streets and long traffic 列s don't help companies or 居住(者)s.

I argue that things like this can't be done in 孤立/分離 without proper planning and appropriate mitigations.?

The city of York is a good example of where this has been thought about more comprehensively, it has a park-and-ride 計画/陰謀 using electric buses and is a 最高の,を越す-率d 目的地 for tourists, and its city centre is an excellent place to visit.?

あわてて introduced and 貧しく planned low traffic 計画/陰謀s, 簡単に 転換 traffic to nearby main roads and can より悪くする congestion and 汚染.

It can feel like we're 権力のない to do anything about 政策s like this 存在 課すd on us, but if enough people get 伴う/関わるd and take 活動/戦闘, that isn't the 事例/患者.?

Canterbury recently abandoned its 計画(する) to 可決する・採択する a 15-minute city after a groundswell of 地元の 対立.

If you want to 達成する change, you need to get 伴う/関わるd.?

Use social マスコミ to get together and organise with as many like-minded people in your area as you can, 接触する 居住(者)s groups who are on the sam e 旅行 in other towns, 接触する the 地元の 圧力(をかける), 令状 to your MP, …に出席する 会議 会合s to put your 事例/患者 今後, you might even be able to get some of your group elected の上に the 会議.?

Those in 地元の 会議s 押し進めるing this 協議事項 seem to have already decided and won't readily change course unless enough people …に反対する it.

Town centre and high street 商売/仕事s have been struggling for years, ground 負かす/撃墜する by a 転換 to online 小売, poor town planning, shortsightedness from 地元の 会議s 許すing too many 小売 parks, expensive 商売/仕事 率s, and a 欠如(する) of parking. The 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) of factors is long.

The pandemic was another 大規模な blow to many small 商売/仕事s; supermarkets, 急速な/放蕩な food chains and online retailers were 許すd to operate throughout, but small shops were not.

The last thing 商売/仕事s like yours need is その上の hindrances to 貿易(する).?

Unless there are 根底となる changes and the 政府 steps in to support the high street, 独立した・無所属 商売/仕事s will 結局 disappear altogether, and they'll 結局最後にはーなる, as some already are, as ghost towns or 寄宿舎s.

My more 明確な/細部 advice for your 商売/仕事, which you could work on before any changes to your 地元の area, would be to 改善する your online presence.?

Perhaps not as an online 目録 but to 促進する the 利益s of what you 申し込む/申し出 as an 独立した・無所属 retailer.

You might find it hard to compet e with the big online retailers on price, but you can 申し込む/申し出 the 肉親,親類d of personal service they can't 達成する.

存在 there in person to 供給する a personal service, a 手段ing service, alterations and style advice from your many years of experience.

A 地元の furniture 商売/仕事 in Accrington 申し込む/申し出s 質 fresh coffee and soft drinks while you browse, which is a 広大な/多数の/重要な way to build a 和合 with the 顧客.?

焦点(を合わせる)ing on 質 and 顧客 experience, rather than price, will help you become a 目的地 井戸/弁護士席 価値(がある) the 旅行. Long after the price is forgotten, the service will be remembered.
