Could I renovate empty 所有物/資産/財産s and 雇う ex-違反者/犯罪者s to help the homeless? BANK OF DAVE replies

  • I have an idea for a 非,不,無-利益(をあげる) homeless 商売/仕事 to help communities?
  • I want to renovate empty homes and 雇う ex-違反者/犯罪者s and the 失業した?
  • Have a question for our 商売/仕事 doctor? bankondave@thisismoney.co.uk

I am a civil engineer who has renovated a few 所有物/資産/財産s in the past. I know that there are many empty 所有物/資産/財産s around, which is a shame to people who are looking for homes and for 隣人s/people who live 近づく by.

I want to set up a non-profit homeless business, will this work? Dave Fishwick replies

I want to 始める,決める up a 非,不,無-利益(をあげる) homeless 商売/仕事, will this work? Dave Fishwick replies?

I have an idea for a nonprofit homeless 商売/仕事 but it would 要求する a lot of organisations/people to work together, but I think it would be 有益な for everyone within a community.?

I am not 説 it is going to be e asy and not 完全に sure if it would work but with a lot of hard work and working together I am sure it is something that can be done.

So in a nutshell the idea is to buy empty 所有物/資産/財産s, renovate them by maybe using 失業した, low 技術d, ex 違反者/犯罪者s, young people who have left school 早期に etc Thus turning unsightly buildings 支援する into homes.

Like I have said 以前 it’s an idea I have had for a while but not sure where to start and how to go 今後.?

Ideally I would like to leave my 職業 and be 雇うd in some way in the new 投機・賭ける. Any help/thoughts would be gratefully received. 経由で email

Dave Fishwick, This Is Money’s 商売/仕事 doctor replies: I think it's a 広大な/多数の/重要な idea with 可能性のある 利益s both for people struggling to get a foot on the 所有物/資産/財産 ladder and 地元の communities 苦しむing the 逆の 影響s of empty 所有物/資産/財産s in their 中央.

Many areas in the North of England have 列/漕ぐ/騒動s of 空いている homes. Some 沿岸の areas of Lancashire and the North East are 特に 厳しく 影響する/感情d, at least in part, by a 欠如(する) of 質 地元の 雇用 and other social 問題/発行するs.

I left school with no 資格s. However, I got a 職業 on a building 場所/位置 as an 見習い工 建設業者, which gave me some excellent experience and 技術s that helped me later in life.

After making my 初めの money in the 乗り物 産業, I started to reinvest some of that money in low-cost 所有物/資産/財産s in Nelson and Burnley. I st arted buying terraced houses for under ten thousand 続けざまに猛撃するs, and hundreds were 利用できる then.

I would renovate and rent the houses out, 証明するing your theory 作品 if you can 安全な・保証する the 訂正する 基金ing and 支援 from the 会議s, which I 恐れる could be very difficult.

This was some years ago when I was buying and selling 所有物/資産/財産s. However, more recently, I made a TV series for Channel 4 called "Can 所有物/資産/財産 支払う/賃金 Your 給料," and I 証明するd you can still make money from 所有物/資産/財産 and my series is now showing on アマゾン Prime.

Given the 大規模な rise in 所有物/資産/財産 values over the last couple of 10年間s, it's surprising that there are still so many empty homes.

People living in and around the 資本/首都 might be surprised how cheap 所有物/資産/財産s can be bought for in some of these areas up in the North.

The most 重要な 障害物 to this idea would be the cost.

If this were to be 達成するd country-wide, it would need 政府 関与; few other 団体/死体s have the 基金s 要求するd.

私的な companies with 深い enough pockets can 達成する better returns developing more 重要な 場所/位置s than get 伴う/関わるd with individual low-cost homes.

It would be much easier to start on a smaller 地元の level, preferably with the 協調 of the 地元の 会議.

Unfortunately, in my experience, 地元の 会議s don't always tend to be very helpful where empty 所有物/資産/財産 is 関心d. I once approached a 会議 to discuss renovating a 列/漕ぐ/騒動 of empty houses that were owned by the 地元の 当局. Their 代表者/国会議員 said they'd already had several such 申し込む/申し出s and were uninterested.

In some areas, if a 事業/計画(する) like this were to happen, it may have to be without help from the 地元の 会議, which is a shame.

Someone I know in my 地元の area recently bought a 所有物/資産/財産 to renovate and received a 会議 税金 法案 for £5000 for the year, three times the 普通の/平均(する) 率 for the 所有物/資産/財産.

That's not a 広大な/多数の/重要な incentive to 投資する in the area and bring neglected homes 支援する into habitable 条件, 供給するing much-needed 住宅.

One way you could start this is if you get a group of 利益/興味d people together to buy a 選び出す/独身 neglected 所有物/資産/財産, renovate it and use it as a 事例/患者 熟考する/考慮する showing how it could be done.

This would be a big step に向かって 証明するing you have the know-how and 文書ing the costs 伴う/関わるd.

You could use this first 所有物/資産/財産 to raise publicity in your 地元の area and maybe more 広範囲にわたって.

You could then either sell the 所有物/資産/財産 and put the 利益(をあげる) に向かって reinvesting in ot her neglected 所有物/資産/財産s, snowballing it into a larger 規模, or perhaps 申し込む/申し出 the 所有物/資産/財産 to a charity or other good 原因(となる) at cost price or 割引d rent to show the 可能性のある 利益s of what you're doing.

From 最近の experience and speaking to other 商売/仕事 owners, your ideas on 新採用するing low-cost 労働 could 証明する more difficult than you think, even if you're 用意が出来ている to 申し込む/申し出 training and experience to young people whose careers have gone off 跡をつける.

The cost of living is a 重要な factor here, of course.

Still, I think cultural changes, いっそう少なく than perfectly thought-through education and social マスコミ 約束s of 存在 able to leave school straight into the high life of an 'influencer' are all to 非難する, too.

If you can 割れ目 this nut, you'll have already 達成するd far more than you ever 始める,決める out to.

I think the 所有物/資産/財産s used to house people without homes could 利益 society but would 伴う/関わる 付加 challenges.

Homelessness is a コンビナート/複合体, multifaceted problem that 茎・取り除くs from more than just a 欠如(する) of affordable 住宅, though it's 重要な. Working with a specialist charity in the 部門 might be necessary to understand the 問題/発行するs and challenges.

As I've 設立する in the past, the biggest challenge I think you'll 直面する is 納得させるing those in a position of 力/強力にする and 基金ing to 支援する you that your 計画(する) is feasible and deliverable.

にもかかわらず the さまざまな challenges 伴う/関わるd, I think your ideas and instincts are good, and your experience with 所有物/資産/財産 and your background in 工学 would be a 広大な/多数の/重要な h elp.

Perhaps 最初, you could speak to a charity that 作品 in the 住宅 部門 - they're usually willing to 供給する (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) on what they do.

Maybe 活発に getting 伴う/関わるd with or taking a 職業 in the charitable 住宅 産業 first could help you 伸び(る) experience in the fundraising 味方する of the 事業/計画(する) and how it could be organised and 基金d on a larger 規模.

Who knows where your ideas could lead. I wish you the best of luck.
