(強制)執行官s collected money on my に代わって - but months later, Kingston-upon-Thames 郡 法廷,裁判所 still has the cash: TONY HETHERINGTON

What a joke: You won the case but the court keeps the cash

What a joke: You won the 事例/患者 but the 法廷,裁判所 keeps the cash

Tony Hetherington is 財政上の Mail on Sunday's エース 捜査官/調査官, fighting readers corners, 明らかにする/漏らすing the truth that lies behind の近くにd doors and winning victories for those who have been left out-of-pocket. Find out how to 接触する him below.?

C.I. 令状s: I 問題/発行するd a 法廷,裁判所 (人命などを)奪う,主張する for £350 against LG, a white goods 製造者, relating to a washing machine 保証(人).?

The 会社/堅い did not put up a defence to the (人命などを)奪う,主張する and it was paid after I engaged (強制)執行官s at Kingston-upon-Thames 郡 法廷,裁判所.?

(強制)執行官s collected 支払い(額) last November and the money is, they say, now with the 法廷,裁判所.?

にもかかわらず 非常に/多数の emails, the money is still 優れた and the 法廷,裁判所's phone goes unanswered.

I have also emailed the 法廷,裁判所s and 法廷s Service (民事の)告訴s department, to no avail.

Tony Hetherington replies: It is like a bad joke. You make a (人命などを)奪う,主張する at the 法廷,裁判所, and you 勝利,勝つ. (強制)執行官s collect the money. They 手渡す the cash to the 法廷,裁判所 ? and the 法廷,裁判所 keeps it.?

You called in the (強制)執行官s on November 1 last year, and in 中央の-December you asked them what had happened. Had they 後継するd in collecting your money??

The (強制)執行官s replied: 'This was paid on November 15. If you have not received the money, you need to 接触する Kingston 郡 法廷,裁判所. The (強制)執行官s' office does not を取り引きする 支払い(額)s out.'

You emailed the 法廷,裁判所 on December 13 and again the next day. Nobody replied. The (強制)執行官s told you to 推定する/予想する a 返答 within ten working days, failing which you should try 令状ing to the 法廷,裁判所. You wrote on January 9. Nobody replied.

After you 接触するd me, I emailed the Clerk to the 法廷,裁判所 on January 14. Nobody replied. On January 20, I emailed again, and this time I 伴う/関わるd the 省 of 司法(官). After all, what is the point in a 司法(官) system that 簡単に doesn't work.

The 省 slowly moved into 活動/戦闘, and it took until February 9 for 公式の/役人s to 押し進める the 法廷,裁判所 into 接触するing you.?

An unsigned email explained: 'On に代わって of Kingston 郡 法廷,裁判所, I can 確認する the money is 現在/一般に going through our 支払い(額) system.?

Unfortunately, we have moved to a new system which has 原因(となる)d some 問題/発行するs and 延期するs with the payout 過程.'

I went 支援する to the 省. Could I have a comment from the 法務大臣 Alex Chalk MP, please??

On February 13, the 省 約束d me that you would be paid within a couple of days, but on the same day it also told me your money was 現実に '解放(する)d' on January 30. 解放(する)d? After three months in the clutches of Kingston 郡 法廷,裁判所, I reckon it escaped.

Two days passed and your money was still on the run. A lot of 省 of 司法(官) work has been outsourced to a 私的な company called Liberata, so I 接触するd it and asked whether staff there knew who had your cash. They did.?

Within 24 hours, Liberata's 長,指導者 (n)役員/(a)執行力のある Charlie Bruin told me: 'Liberata manages 支払い(額)s for HM 法廷,裁判所s and 法廷s Service, and we can 確認する all necessary 手続きs were followed with the 最大の care and attention.?

'A 支払い(額) has been 支出するd in 一致 with the contractual 必要物/必要条件s.'

The Liberata boss helpfully explained his company 持つ/拘留するs no money. 法廷,裁判所s ask Liberata to make a 支払い(額) from the 法廷,裁判所's own bank account.?

So when did Liberata receive the request to を引き渡す your money? It was on February 12, almost three months to the day since the (強制)執行官s had 手渡すd it in at the 法廷,裁判所.

On February 19, you received a cheque for £433, 含むing costs. But this was not やめる the end of the story.

A week ago you received an 陳謝 from the 省 of 司法(官), on に代わって of the 大臣, Alex Chalk.?

An 公式の/役人 explained: 'I 接触するd the 法廷,裁判所 and they 知らせるd me they have experienced problems with 過程ing the 支払い(額) 予定 to 問題/発行するs with the computer system.'?

I have always resisted the phrase 'Broken Britain', but いつかs they are the only words that 適用する.

You'd need a pool for this water 法案

A.B. 令状s: Thames Water rang me out of the blue to say I had an 未払いの balance of almost £4,400 on my account.

I live in a small North London flat with my wife and two young children, and the 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s relate to an 'anomalous' メーター reading by a Thames Water 従業員 in 2020, showing we had used 2,000 部隊s of water.?

In fact, our usage is about 100 部隊s a year.

Tony Hetherington replies:?支援する in 2020, when you first spotted the 抱擁する メーター reading, you 接触するd Thames Water and were told an engineer would 調査/捜査する within days. Of course, nobody did, no 事柄 how many times you called.?

Then in 2021, you were told Thames Water would rebase 未来 法案s, with a fresh starting point.?

The previous incorrect reading would be ignored. Suddenly, almost three years later, Thames Water resurrected the 明確に wro ng reading and again told you that an engineer would visit.?

一方/合間, it (人命などを)奪う,主張するd you 借りがある £4,494. This time, the engineer did turn up, and after 診察するing the メーター he explained to get the reading shown on 法案s, you would have had to open a swimming pool.

Thames Water told me: 'Our 顧客 service teams have 調査/捜査するd and 設立する this was 予定 to an 異常な メーター reading.' Your account has now been recalculated and the result is that you are now £500 in credit!
