P.T. 令状s: HM 歳入 & Customs 知らせるd me that I had paid too little 税金 in 2022-2023, because I had received over £14,000 in untaxed 利益／興味 on 貯金. The 貯金 人物／姿／数字 was 供給（する）d to HMRC by 国家の 貯金.?

Unfortunately, I have no such account or 利益／興味. It is fictional.?

I 接触するd the 税金 office, but now I have been told the 支払う／賃金 As You Earn 税金 code for my work 年金 is 存在 changed, leaving me worse off by about £500 a month and cutting my 年金 by about a third.?

Tony Hetherington replies: Once the 税金 juggernaut starts rolling, it is very hard to 適用する the ブレーキs. Your first inkling that anything was wrong （機の）カム when you received a 需要・要求する for £2,751, which was said to be 税金 予定 on 利益／興味 of £14,750. All the taxman could tell you was that the 人物／姿／数字 had been 供給（する）d by 国家の 貯金, but 公式の／役人s there were no help either, as you could not give them the account number of the account you did not have in the first place.

You wrote to 国家の 貯金 & 投資s (NS&I) and received a written reply 説 there was no account in your 指名する. But, by then, the 税金 office had changed tack and decided to collect an extra £500 a month from your 年金.

Staff 保証するd you that you would not lose out in the long run if the tip-off from NS&I turned out to be wrong. But this is little 慰安 when you are losing such a 抱擁する slice of your 年金 for no 推論する／理由.

I asked HMRC to look into this and they moved with commendable 速度(を上げる）. Three days after I 接触するd them, you received a call from the 税金 office, apologising and 申し込む／申し出ing £75 補償（金）, 同様に as 問題／発行するing you with a new PAYE code. Instead of £2,751, you 借りがある £1.80p. I've been waiting over a year for my 年金 lump sum

Ms A.S. 令状s: I was 予定 to receive a 年金 計画（する） lump sum of £19,417 from 不死鳥／絶品 Life on my 75th birthday, which was in January last year. I was also 予定 to receive £3,010 in January this ye ar.

I have not received a penny.

Tony Hetherington replies: In so many large companies it is hard to find someone who will 現実に take 責任／義務 for sorting out a problem instead of 手渡すing it over to someone else in a never ending game of pass-the-problem.

You told me that at one 行う／開催する／段階, 不死鳥／絶品 （人命などを）奪う，主張するd to be waiting for a reply from the trustees of your old 雇用者's 年金 s cheme. After weeks of waiting and fruitless phone calls, it turned out that 不死鳥／絶品 had 現実に sent its enquiry to its own 演説（する）／住所 and not to your old 雇用者.

On another occasion, you told me, 不死鳥／絶品 sent forms to you. You 完全にするd them and returned them, only to have 不死鳥／絶品 tell you that the forms should have gone to the trustees of the 年金 計画／陰謀. This happened last August, but in October 正確に／まさに the same forms landed on your doormat again, and again they were meant for the trustees.

The final straw before you 接触するd me （機の）カム when you called 不死鳥／絶品 three times, and each time you were told that the person 扱うing your （人命などを）奪う，主張する was on another call and would get 支援する to you.

He never did, and when you called for a fourth time you were told he had gone off on a training course for two months and would 接触する you on his return.

I 接触するd 不死鳥／絶品 on your に代わって and, four days later, £23,391 landed in your bank account. This was both your 延滞の 支払い（額）s, いっそう少なく 所得税 deducted at source. 不死鳥／絶品 最初 申し込む／申し出d £200 by way of an 陳謝, and £20 to cover all your calls and any other costs.

This was pathetic. It did not even scratch the surface of what you could reasonably 推定する／予想する, and I said so. 不死鳥／絶品 has 再考するd. It has now paid you £1,652 as 利益／興味 on the late 支払い（額）s, with a その上の £1,025 as 補償（金） for the upset.

But 追加するing a final rather bizarre 新たな展開 to all this, you received one last letter from 不死鳥／絶品, thanking you for your 最近の request to change your 指名する. You told me you had held the same 指名する since you got married 56 years ago, and you have no 意向 of changing it now. 不死鳥／絶品 explained to me that it had just spotted that its 記録，記録的な／記録するs had never 公式文書，認めるd your middle 指名する, so the 記録，記録的な／記録するs had been changed, but you should never have been 接触するd or bothered about this.
