My 雇用者 is 申し込む/申し出ing an 選択 to make my 年金 出資/貢献 経由で a salary sacrifice, or salary 交流, 計画/陰謀.

They say that this means I can 与える/捧げる more to my 年金, but still take home the same 支払う/賃金 each month. How does this work, is it 価値(がある) 調印 up to, and are there any downsides?

Many will already be 支払う/賃金ing into a defined 出資/貢献 年金 計画(する) every month thanks to 自動車-enrolment.?

However, you can do this in different ways. And if you have more than one 選択 there may be a more 効果的な way to grow your 年金, a salary sacrifice 計画/陰謀 is one way savers can 潜在的に do that.

申し込む/申し出d by some 雇用者s, often larger companies, salary sacrifice 年金 計画/陰謀s see 従業員s give up part of their salary, which is then paid by the 雇用者 直接/まっすぐに into the 従業員's 年金.

Whilst this 減ずるs your 名目上の 収入s, it means that the 部分 of your salary that you would ordinarily 支払う/賃金 into your 年金 after 税金 and then get 税金 救済 追加するd to, is instead paid in before 税金.

There is an extra saving from doing this, as it means?both 雇用者 and 従業員 do not have to make 国家の 保険 出資/貢献s on the 量 of salary sacrificed into the 年金.

In a nutshell, salary sacrifice means you can make 支払い(額)s to your workplace 年金 協定 in a more 税金-efficient way, by 申し込む/申し出ing 国家の 保険 (NI) 貯金 for both the 従業員 and 雇用者.

It's important to know that it is a formal 協定 between you and your 雇用者, 影響する/感情ing your 条件 and 条件s of 雇用 with regards to 支払う/賃金 and 利益s.?

With a 'normal' workplace defined 出資/貢献 年金, you have an agreed contractual salary, but before it lands in your bank account you 支払う/賃金 a 百分率 to your workplace 年金.? Your 雇用者 also 支払う/賃金s a 百分率, and the 政府 最高の,を越すs it up.

With salary sacrifice, your contractual salary is 減ずるd in 交流 for 雇用者 出資/貢献s, rather than you making 支払い(額)s 直接/まっすぐに as an 従業員 支払い(額). As 支払う/賃金 is 減ずるd, neither yo u nor your 雇用者 支払う/賃金 NI on the 量 of the salary 交流d.

Salary sacrifice can't take your salary below the 国家の Living or 国家の 最小限 行う, so you will be 除外するd if this is the 事例/患者. There may also be a 最大限 限界 which you 支払う/賃金 in, so as not to inadvertently bring you below 確かな NI 限界s, which could 衝撃 your 適格(性) for some 明言する/公表する 利益s.

The main advantage of 支払う/賃金ing 経由で salary 交流 is the 減ずるd 国家の 保険, and therefore higher take-home 支払う/賃金. There's usually no 衝撃 on 所得税.?

If you're a higher 率 taxpayer then 支払う/賃金ing 経由で salary 交流 will mean there is no higher 率 税金 救済 to (人命などを)奪う,主張する on your 支払い(額)s, as you're not 税金d on the salary 交流d or sacrificed.

Salary sacrifice can give you more take home 支払う/賃金?

As an example, for an 従業員 who earns £35,000 a year, 与える/捧げるing 5 per cent into their 年金 and receiving 5 per cent from their 雇用者, their total 年金 出資/貢献s will be £3,500 regardless.?

Under the salary 交流 method however, take home 支払う/賃金 would 増加する by £140 over the year.?

This example is based on the 2024/25 税金 year - please remember that the 税金 治療 depends on your individual circumstances and may be 支配する to change in the 未来.

雇用者 出資/貢献s: Some 雇用者s may pass on some of their NI 貯金 from salary 交流 by 支払う/賃金ing more into your workplace 年金, その上の 上げるing 年金 貯金. It's 価値(がある) asking your 雇用者 how this will 衝撃 their level of 出資/貢献s.

構内/化合物 growth: Higher 出資/貢献s now will 生成する 構内/化合物 growth over time, like a snowball, because of (株主への)配当s and 利益/興味 率s. This means 与える/捧げるing more 早期に should leave you with a larger 退職 マリファナ.

Child 利益/全世界の/万国共通の Credit: As salary sacrifice 減ずるs 支払う/賃金, this could 増加する the level of 全世界の/万国共通の Credit or 増加する the main entitlement to Child 利益 if you're 適格の for those 明言する/公表する 利益s.
